The Construction of Kunshan Tsinghua Bio-science Park construction Is StartedPrint

On November 18, 2011, construction of the Kunshan Tsinghua Bio-science Park officially started. Mr. Xu Jinghong (Assistant to the Principal of Tsinghua University, President of Tsinghua Science Park Co., Ltd, and Chairman of Board of Kunshan Tsinghua Science Park Co., Ltd), Mr. Lu Jun, (Vice Secretary of CPC Kunshan Municipal Committee and Acting Mayor of Kunshan), Mr. Huangjian and Mr. Dang Jianbing (both are local government leaders), and Mr. Liu Wangfeng (Senior Vice President of Tsinghua Science Park Co., Ltd, General Manager of Kunshan Tsinghua Science Park) attended the starting ceremony.

Tsinghua Bio-science Park symbolized a significant reconstructing of Tsinghua Science Park—specifically speaking, a transfer from a professional science park to a high-tech industrial park. It’s introduced that Tsinghua Bio-science Park is aimed to be built into a high-level bio-science industrial park, which will give birth to multiple biological high-tech industrial clusters focusing on medication, antibody, medical instruments and materials respectively and hence promote Kunshan’s biomedicine industry.

Mr. Lu Jun (Vice Secretary of CPC Kunshan Municipal Committee and Acting Mayor of Kunshan) gave a speech on the starting ceremony, stating that Kunshan will fully support the development of Tsinghua Bio-science Park and the nucleic acid science park. Enterprises will receive full support to grow and flourish, while the integration of technology, market, talents and finance will be improved, facilitating the real transfer of Kunshan’s biomedicine industry.

Mr. Xu Jinghong (Assistant to the Principal of Tsinghua University, President of Tsinghua Science Park Co., Ltd) said that, the start of the construction of Tsinghua Bio-science Park will surely promote the nucleic acid industry to a higher level. TusPark will continue exerting all kinds of innovation elements to keep promoting the development of Kunshan’s biomedicine industry. 

The leaders jointly attended the unveiling ceremony for the nucleic acid intellectual property service platform, Jiangsu nucleic acid industry park and Kunshan high-tech bio-science park; seven biomedicine enterprises, including BoRui, ZeJing and JiKai were awarded model enterprise certificate; construction of the R&D and production foundation of HuaCe, Kunshan Abmart Antibody and Kunshan XX Laboratory Animal Diet officially started.
