MOU Signing Ceremony for Science Park Cooperation between TusPark and Zhiguli Valley Technopark kicked off at TusPark Club on the morning of July 25. Zhiqiang Li, deputy director of Tsinghua Science Park Development Center and executive deputy president of TusPark Development Center TusPark Holdings CO., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “TDCTH”) , signed the relevant cooperation document together with Mr. Valery Denisov, general manager of “Zhiguli Valley Technopark” Innovation Center Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as “Zhiguli Valley Technopark”). The signing ceremony was presided over by Chun Miao of Technology & Assets Operations Center of TDCTH. 


Honorably present at the signing ceremony were Yao Zheng, a deputy president from TDCTH, Alexei Kokotkin, deputy general manger from Zhiguli Valley Technopark, Sergei Cizov, Deputy Chief Representative of Trade Representative Office of Russian Federation to China, Yelena Kravtsova, consultant from the Economic and Trade Cooperation Department, Professor Xin Lu, Secretary-General of China Society for Technology of Plasticity and reporter and other VIP guests from ITAR-TASS and CCTV, etc.

Prior to the signing ceremony, Deputy Director Zhiqiang Li presented a detailed introduction of the development course, service system and the remarkable achievements of TusPark to the visiting guests and also listened attentively to the presentation about Zhiguli Valley Technopark by Mr. Valery Denisov, general manager. Both parties conducted the extensive communication and exchange of the construction and operation experience of the new park zones.

“Zhiguli Valley Technopark”, located in Samara Oblast in Russia, is constructed and operated by Zhiguli Valley Technopark, covers a total planned construction area up to 26 hectares and will be completed by the end of 2012. At present it has signed with 50-odd enterprises for the settlement agreements, mainly including IBM and SIMENS. Samara Oblast is one of the most developed industrial areas in Russia. Its family car industry ranks first in Russia, followed by aviation and Aerospace industry, occupying the dominant position in Russia. Its machinery manufacturing, petroleum industry, ferrous and nonferrous metals industries are comparatively well developed. Besides, Samara Oblast is one of the largest education and scientific research centers in Russia, so it ranks fifth out of the total 89 federal subjects of Russia in terms of the comprehensive financial strength.


General Manager Valery Denisov and Deputy General Manager Alexei Kokotkin will conduct the further discussion with the Chinese side concerning feasibility and the specific methods for cooperation by both sides in respect of consultation service, venture investment, Infrastructure construction, training to innovative services teams and technology transformation and other relevant fields within the MOU framework in addition to the visit to TusPark and signing the TusPark.


Sergei Cizov, Deputy Chief Representative of Trade Representative Office of Russian Federation to China, delivered a speech at the signing ceremony, extended his congratulations on the establishment of the bilateral cooperation, and also pointed out, the Science park cooperation between both countries complied with the fundamental interests of the two countries and was of great significance to both sides. Both sides will strengthen the mutual cooperation to achieve a win-win scenario.
