A High-Level World Economic Forum Delegation Visit TusParkPrint

Ms. Martina Gmur, Senior Director and Mr. Martin Nägele, Deputy Director of the Network of Global Agenda Councils, World Economic Forum leaded their delegation visited Tsinghua University Science Park(TusPark) in December 21, 2102, TusPark Co., Ltd. Vice President Chen Hongbo met and entertained them.  

Chen Hongbo extended a warm welcome to the delegation on behalf of TusPark Co., Ltd. President Wang Ji Wu, he introduced the direction and operation of TusPark, its success factors and our incubated innovative startups during these eighteen years, the achievements and experiences on promoting development of local economy. Besides these, he also discussed and exchanged opinions with guests on how we promote TusPark and tenants’ images to let the others deeper insight incubator and the function of Science Park in pushing regional innovation, incubating high-tech enterprises through World Economic Forum such a high-level platform, which are more extensive integration of all resources to promote incubator, construct and develop Science Parks and Science New City.

Martina Gmur and her delegation gave highly positive comments on TusPark’s great achievements and expressed her willingness to provide more opportunities to show TusPark itself in World Economic forum, exchange of views on setting up the innovation and entrepreneurship sector in the Summer Davos, and the possibility for us hold World Economic Forum in our park in the near future and so on.

Members of the delegation also include World Economic Forum Beijing Office Mr. Zhang Suyue and Ms Zhou Wenjing. Some excellent enterprises in the park such as Innofidei Chief Operating Officer Dr. Chen Chun, president of HINACOM, Dr. Cui Tongzhe and CHINESEALL Executive Vice President Dr. Zhang Fan all attended the meeting and banquet; they introduced their companies, key technologies and the experiences of startup etc. to the delegation.       

Technology Pioneers, Young Global Leaders, Global Shapers, Social Entrepreneurs and Global Agenda Council etc. totally 12 networks, communities and councils under World Economic Forum Management Institution which is a team of 25 members of the Board of Directors, 7 Senior Directors and 36 Directors. This time, the delegation is from the Global Agenda Council, the Council is composed of more than 1,200 experts and scholars in various fields around the world. Global Agenda Council is as the think tank and the selection of the main topics department of World Economic Forum.
