Purdue University President Mitchell Daniel Visits TusParkPrint

On the June 26 morning, Purdue University President Mitchell Daniel headed the delegation to visit Tsinghua University Science Park(TusPark), accompanies also include Technology School Dean Gary Bertoline, Associate Vice President for Engagement and professor of mechanical engineering Suresh Garimella, International Project Dean Michael Brzezins. TusPark Co., Ltd Senior Vice President Chen Hongbo met the guests in the TusPark Exposition Center.

This was the third time Purdue University delegation to visit TusPark, almost every new president would visit TusPark when they had been to China. Vice President Chen Hongbo introduced the development process of TusPark, as well as the past two decades of achievements and experiences. He especially emphasized the successful international cooperation cases of TusPark, and answered their questions raised by the delegations about the problems they met during park operation.

President Mitchell Daniel highly praised TusPark’s great achievements and its leadership in this industry. He also describes the development of Purdue University Research Park and Discovery Park, the problems they are facing now. Mitchell Daniel, a former Arizona governor in the U.S., and also served as CEO in high-tech company, he is greatly looking forward to cooperate with TusPark and warmly invite TusPark Co., Ltd CEO Mr. Wang Ji Wu can personally visit Purdue University to further discuss mutual cooperation at a convenient time.
