TusPark and NORSTAR Signs An Agreement on the Investment on Gimpo International Science ParkPrint

On July 24, TusPark and NORSTAR KOREA Inc. signed an agreement on the joint investment on the Gimpo International Science Park Project. Xu Jinghong (Board Chairman of the Tsinghua Holdings Co., Ltd.), Wang Jiwu (President of TusPark), Ma Zhigang (Director of TusPark), Li Zhiqiang (Executive Vice President of TusPark), Zhao Dong (Vice President of TusPark), An Hongping (Director of Science Park Development), Lee Soo Sung (Former Prime Minister of South Korea and President of the Seoul National University), Lee Chi-Beom (Former State Councilor of South Korea and Minister of the State Environmental Protection Administration), Yong-Duk Kin (Chairman of the Korea-China Culture Exchange Association), Chiong-chu Kin (Former Deputy Mayor of Seoul), Shen Zhihao (Chairman of NORSTAR) and Lee Chong-sok (Chairman of Gimpo Industrial and Commercial Conference Office) et al attended the signing ceremony.
The Gimpo International Science Park under planning, which is a green hi–tech science park project integrating science, technology, culture, education and art exchange, is a key strategic layout of TusPark in the northeast Asia. TusPark will develop the Gimpo International Science Park into a demonstrative oversea sub-park of the Tsinghua Science Park.
On the signing ceremony, Xu Jinghong (Board Chairman of the Tsinghua Holdings Co., Ltd.) and Lee Soo Sung (Former Prime Minister of South Korea and President of the Seoul National University) made warm speeches respectively, thinking highly of the project and wishing great success to the cooperation between South Korea and China on the project.
After that, Wang Jiwu (President of TusPark) issued the letters of appointment to Lee Chi-Beom (Former Minister of the State Environmental Protection Administration), Yong-Duk Kin (Chairman of the Korea-China Culture Exchange Association) and Shen Zhihao (Chairman of NORSTAR) entitling them as the “Members of Tsinghua Science Park Development and Promotion Consultative Committee”. At the same time, the Korea-China Culture Exchange Association appointed Wang Jiwu (President of TusPark) and Ma Zhigang (Director of TusPark) as the honorary consultants of the Korea-China Culture Exchange Association and issued certificates to them. This will further promote the exchange between South Korea and China in economy, science & technology, culture, education, etc.
The signing of this investment agreement shows that TusPark and NORSTAR has entered into a stage of substantial cooperation. The two parties will further give full play to their own advantages to greatly develop the project development, construction and operation of the Gimpo International Science Park Project, actively introduce globally outstanding enterprises and accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, jointly making contribution to the win-win cooperation on science parks between China and South Korea.
