After going through public reply, expert review and project review in the intense quarter-final, Shanghai Tengwei Information Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Tengwei), one of tenants in TusPark SMV, successfully entered into startup competition finalist of the 2nd China Innovative Venture Contest (Shanghai) in 2013.
The 2nd China Innovative Venture Contest in 2013 is a national venture contest with the largest scale and the highest standard in China today. Its Shanghai arena is jointly undertaken by the Shanghai Technology Innovation Center and the Shanghai Technology Entrepreneurship Foundation for Graduates. The purpose of this contest is to set up a service platform for small and medium-sized hi-tech enterprises, and lead in a wider range of social resources to support innovative ventures and promote the innovative development of small and medium-sized hi-tech enterprises. The Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality will provide the Top 10 startup competition finalists in the Shanghai arena with a series of policy support.
As one of the startup competition finalists in the Shanghai arena, Tengwei was originally a key support project for the TusPark SMV and was introduced into the Qingqi Incubation Nursery in early 2012. As the Tengwei Incubation Team was still in the startup run-up, the Qingqi Incubation Nursery provided it with many supporting services and policy supports to help it focus on technology-based ventures and market development, so that it could grow up rapidly and obtain the venture capital easily. In the same year, it obtained the capital financing that amounted to RMB 10 million. After graduating from the incubation nursery, Tengwei entered into the Qingqi Technological Incubator for a new height of its business development.
In order to help the contesters from the TusPark SMV know more about the policies of this contest, the TusPark SMV used to ask the sponsor of the Shanghai arena to hold a pep rally for the contesters. During enrollment and formal competition, the TusPark SMV followed up the contest schedule and progress actively and kept in touch with the contesters, so as to help solve their problems they met with during enrollment and formal competition.
