From the national and regional perspective, technological innovation and urbanization were undoubtedly the strongest driving forces. With regard to how to break through the dilemma confronted in the process of urbanization, he proposed three factors, those are: technological innovation clustering, meaning that intensive use of urban space resources should be adopted to improve the quality of industrialization and urbanization; technological innovation internalization, meaning that the key lies in the internalization of technological innovation for enterprises; technological innovation normalization, meaning that the Chinese government needs to strengthen reform efforts, reduce enterprises’ cost of innovation, and break the system barriers in innovation and entrepreneurship.

In the interactive sessions, CEO Wang Jiwu answered the participating guests’ questions on the successful experience of Tsinghua University Science Park, internationalization considerations, etc. In his view, Tsinghua University Science Park explored a science park development model of “gathering, aggregation, focus and fusion”, which promoted the joint progress of high technology and urbanization in China. Tus-Holdings Co., Ltd., responsible for the construction, operation and management of Tsinghua University Science Park, aimed to build the full-chain financial service business and form a fully functional technological finance service platform covering direct investment, credit, investment banking and mixed operation.
