President Wang Jiwu Leads a Tus-Holdings Delegation Visits Hong KongPrint

A delegation from Tus-Holdings visited Hong Kong with the lead of President Wang Jiwu at the invitation of Hong Kong Government and Hong Kong Trade Development Council from Jan, 13 to Jan, 15, 2014.


“2014 Asian Financial Forum” was held in Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center sponsored by Hong Kong Government and Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) jointly from Jan, 13 to Jan, 14. The forum was the highest level annual conference in Hong Kong considering its position of Asian financial center. All the points raised by the invitees were globally notable in the financial circle. Chinese mainstream financial media such as Sina Finance、Hexun、Xinhuanet、Tecent Finance  etc. gave a full coverage to the forum by setting up a special column. PRESIDENT Wang Jiwu was invited to attend the forum and gave a lecture in terms of “The Recent Development of Asia’s Urbanization”.


President Wang raised his ideas from a perspective of China’s urbanization in his speech and deemed that China’s urbanization would be an extremely important issue in the next two decades. It would introduce many promising opportunities into varied industries in China. It must implement the innovation of modes and systems. One important issue needed to be resolved is the liberation of labor in the new round urbanization process during which the development of finance service industry and science and technology service industry tend to play a critical role.


 

Before the conference began, Chief Executive of Hong Kong, Liang Zhenying met with Wang Jiwu. Mr. Wang briefly gave an introduction to the development TusPark. Mr. Liang showed his welcome of the involvement and support of TusPark and Tus-Holdings in the development of Hong Kong’s science and finance.


On the afternoon of Jan, 13, President Wang Jiwu and his delegation met with Ms. Fanny Law, JP, Hong Kong’s Deputy to the National People’s Congress, Chairwoman of Hong Kong Science and Technology Park. Both sides had an extensive and in-depth discussion on the issue of Tus-Holdings’ willingness to help to construct Hong Kong’s science and finance as well as the way of cooperation and promotion between two parties. Mr. Wang deemed that considering Tus-Holdings’ experience of scientific and technological innovation experience nationally or even world-widely, Tus-Holdings exerts itself to form a scientific service passageway in Pearl River Delta that connects Hong Kong based in Guangzhou, Zhuhai and Shenzhen in the process of nation’s advocacy of Integration of PRD. Ms. Fanny Law appreciated greatly to Mr. Wang’s proposal and expressed her welcome and wishes of Tus-Holdings and TusPark’s involvement to the in-depth construction of Hong Kong’s holistic science innovation system as well as to deepen the cooperation relationship between Tus-Holdings and Hong Kong Science and Technology Park and its project of industrial base reformation.



On the afternoon of Jan, 14, President Wang Jiwu and the delegation were invited to visit Invest HK. Ms. Deng Zhongmin, Assistant Director of Invest HK hosted Mr. Wang and the team. Deng expressed the warm welcome to Tus-Holdings’ investment in HK on behalf of the Special Administrative Region and willingness to provide specific investment information as well as good investment environment to Tus-Holdings so as to enable Tus-Holdings to put its experience of global innovation platform construction and scientific and technological finance service to good use in Hong Kong.


In addition, Mr. Wang and the delegation members also met with the officers of HKTDC and personage in Hong Kong finance circle and real estate circle.
