At the invitation of Konkuk University of South Korea, WANG Jiwu, CEO of Tus-Holding Co., Ltd. attended the First South Korea-China Enterprise Collaboration Seminar themed “Discussion and Exploration on the Development of China’s Innovative Enterprises and South Korea-China Collaboration Mode” held in South Korea during February 19 - 21, 2014, and gave a speech entitled “Opportunities and Challenges of Innovative Enterprises in China’s Urbanization Process”.

CEO WANG Jiwu pointed out in his speech, “The three most effective means to solve the difficulties in the process of urbanization are: I. Technological innovation clustering. China’s industrialization rate reaches up to 47%; only through technological innovation clustering and intensive use of urban space resources, the quality of industrialization and urbanization can be improved. II. Technological innovation internalization. Enterprises’ technological innovation is now facing four major problems, those are, “lack of motivation”, “lack of innovation courage”, “limited capacity” and “difficult financing”, and the key to solve these problems lies in give-back of technological innovation internalization to enterprises. III. Technological innovation normalization. Nowadays, there are still many obstacles to innovation in China. The Chinese government needs to strengthen the reform intensity, reduce the cost of innovation for enterprises and break the system barriers for innovation and entrepreneurship.” CEO WANG Jiwu’s unique insights obtained high degree of recognition and praise from the seminar participants.

The seminar was held in response to the core concepts of “Creative Economy” and “Innovation” strongly advocated by the Government of South Korea and the Government of China in 2013. XU Jinghong, Board Chairman of Tsinghua Holdings Co., Ltd. and LIU Wanfeng, Senior Vice President of Tus-Holdings Co., Ltd. were also invited to the seminar.
