The Project of TusPark Science City Settled in ZhengzhouPrint

On the afternoon of April 18, an investment agreement was signed by and between Tus-Holdings and Jinshui District, Zhengzhou in Zhengzhou Municipal Government regarding joint development of the project of Zhengzhou TusPark Science City. Chairman Mei Meng, Party Secretary Li Zhiqiang, Senior Vice Presidents An Hongping and Cao Yibing and their companions from Tus-Holdings Co., Ltd., Ma Jian, deputy mayor of Zhengzhou, Zheng Haodong, secretary of Jinshui District Party Committee, Chen Hongwei, mayor of Jinshui District Government, Fan Anmin, deputy mayor of Jinshui District Government and other leaders attended the signing ceremony.  

The signing ceremony was presided over by District Mayor Chen Hongwei, and District Secretary Zheng Haodong remarked that Jinshui District would give fully support for the development and construction of Zhengzhou TusPark Science City. The two parties expressed that they would make joint efforts to build the project of Zhengzhou TusPark Science City into a benchmark and model. Chairman Mei Meng said Zhengzhou TusPark Science City is Tus-Holding’s flagship product in Central China and an important link for Tus-Holdings to build a national innovation network, and the whole group would make great efforts to build Zhengzhou TusPark Science City, so as to make it contribute to the development of the IT service sector of Zhengzhou, even Henan. Deputy Major Ma Jian congratulated on the signing of the project, hoping that Zhengzhou TusPark Science City would be built into an important platform to support Zhengzhou’s industrial upgrading and economic restructuring.

The project of Zhengzhou TusPark Science City is an important platform and carrier to implement the “Technological Cooperation Framework Agreement” signed by Tsinghua University and Zhengzhou Municipal People’s Government in April 2013. With a total investment of about RMB 4 billion, the project has a land area of about 600 acres and a planned floor area of about 800,000 m2. Over the past 20 years, Tus-Holdings has accumulated rich experience and resources in terms of development, operation and management of science parks, high-tech industrial incubation, technological innovation, industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, venture capital funds, education and training, etc., and it will introduce such experience and resources into the project of Zhengzhou TusPark Science City. In combination with Zhengzhou’s needs of economic development, Tus-Holdings will actively explore the establishment of a new technological innovation service model, be committed to serving independent technological innovation and economic restructuring upgrade, and build it into a multifunctional composite science city which centers on technological research and development and integrates work, study, living and entertainment into one.

After the signing ceremony, Mr. Ma Yi, mayor of Zhengzhou, met with Chairman Mei Meng, Secretary Li Zhiqiang and their companions, and expressed his support for the settlement of the project in Zhengzhou.
