What’s the development trend for the international science park in the next two decades? How will China science parks play a more positive role in promoting the regional innovation and building the innovative country? On August 28th, the 6th Tus-Holdings Innovation Forum and the 2nd Leaders of Global Science Parks Roundtable Meeting was grandly opened in Beijing TusPark, gathering global and domestic professionals to jointly discuss the future development path of science parks, and having a breakthrough in releasing the world's first technology service industry standard version 1.0, relying on TusPark’s 20 years of extensive practice in order to create conditions for the establishment of science and technology service industry and quality control system. 


The forum was undertaken by Tus-Holdings Innovation Research Institute of Tsinghua University and Tus-Holdings Co., Ltd.(hereinafter “Tus-Holdings”), and jointly supported by International Association of Science Parks (IASP) and China Association Of Science and Technology Industry Parks. This highest-level industry grand gathering of the country was attended by the former Prime Minister of ROK and the former President of Seoul University Lee Soo Sung, the Chairman of ISAP Rick Weddle, the Vice Chairman of the 11th National People's Congress Chen Zhili, the Vice Chairman of National People's Congress Financial and Economic Committee and the Vice Chairman of China Democratic National Construction Association Gu Shengzu, the Secretary of Tsinghua University Party Committee and the Director of School Administration Committee Chen Xu, the President of Tus-Holdings Co., Ltd. and the Director of TusPark Development Center Mei Meng, the President of Tus-Holdings Co., Ltd. Wang Jiwu and so on. 

Focusing on the forum theme of “ Development trend for international science parks- what is going to happen in the next two decades?”, representatives from organizations like IASP, UNESCO, World Technology Innovation Cluster Association, World Technology and Incubator Network Alliance, etc., leaders from many countries, regions and science parks at home and abroad launched a discussion on the new-type urbanization and construction of the innovation and start-up ecosystem and mapped a blueprint for the future development of international science parks.  


In recent years, science and technology service industry has played an increasingly important role in the process of adjusting the economic structure and changing economic development mode in our country. Premier of the State Council Li Keqiang chaired a State Council executive meeting the other day and planned to expedite the development of science and technology service industry in support of innovation. It was agreed on the meeting that developing science and technology service industry was indispensable to the realization of science and technology innovation leading industrial upgrading as well as the promotion of economy to medium and high end level.

According to our country’s requirements for the establishment of service industry standard system, Tus-Holdings launched the world’s first Regional Innovation Service Standard System Version 1.0 on the basis of summarizing and refining out TusPark’s 20 years’ experiences in construction and operation practice, including the service standard system of the new science city, service standard system of science park and service standard system of business incubator, of which every service standard system all includes two parts of service guarantee and service provision, which are inclusive of the elaboration of related definitions, contents and standards. This will not only create conditions for the establishment of science and technology service industry and quality control system, but also pave the way for the formation and replication of business incubators, science parks and new science cities.  


As an important carrier of the country implementing the independent innovation strategy and after twenty years’ exploration and practice of establishing science and technology soft environment, TusPark has scored fruitful achievements on the aspects of advancing regional independent innovation, building up the industry & university collaboration platform, promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and the incubation of start-up enterprises, etc. Numerous independent innovation technology in the park has reached the world leading level, adding up to over one thousand incubated enterprises, 13 of which 13 have successfully become listed, many enterprises have realized merger and acquisition and lots of successfully incubated enterprises have become the leaders of the industry. Tus-Holdings, as the builder and operator, has explored the science park development pattern of “congregation, polymerization, focalization and achievement” by integrating the innovative resources such as “government, industry, university, research, finance, intermediaries, trade and media”. The experience of TusPark development construction and operation management has been successfully used in over 20 cities and areas like Shanghai, Nanjing, Kunshan, Xi’an, Xianyang and Guangzhou. TusPark has also taken the lead in investing the first Sino-US cross-border incubation base in Silicon Valley. Relying on the established science parks and construction platform of new-type urbanization. management platform of financial capital, innovation research and advisory platform, science and technology industry investment platform, Tus-Holdings has gradually formed the “three-core driven, multipoint linked” all-in-one framework which covers the real estate, finance, industry, hotel, education, media, etc. It is now a science and technology service supplier with rich experience, wisdom and comprehensive professional proficiency and becomes a fresh troop in the innovation system of China.        


In order to build up the future international incubation network, Tus-Holdings has gathered many overseas government officials who have extensive experiences in making innovative policies, starting up the enterprises and cultivating the innovative talents, managers of high-tech enterprises or parks, friends from universities, research institutions and finance industry in this forum and set up “the International Advisory Board of TusPark”. Meanwhile, Tus-Holdings has also united 10 successfully developed enterprises in TusPark (“1”+“10”) to launch the establishment of “‘Good startup’ newly built enterprise incubation fund” with an initial raised fund of 50 million. The fund is used for supporting and assisting the development of newly established science-and-technology enterprises by means of “investing in equity change” based on deeply exploring the innovative ideas and globally collecting outstanding projects.
