On October 16, the delegation of Western Digital Corporation, led by President and CEO Steve Milligan of the company, paid a visit to TusPark, and Mr. Wang Jiwu, CEO of Tus-Holdings and chairman of Unisplendour Corporation Limited, Mr. Qi Lian, president of Unisplendour Corporation Limited, Mr. Du Peng, vice CEO of Tus-Holdings, MR. Zhang Lei, general manager of UNISSOFT and President Steve Milligan of Western Digital Corporation and his entourages held an in-depth talk on cooperation in research and development of big data, data storage, market expansion and other aspects. Mr. Yang Ting, assistant director of Investment Promotion Agency of Ministry of Commerce attended the talk, and gave an explanation regarding the policies related to the cooperation.
Before the formal talk, Professor Yang Bin, vice president of Tsinghua University, Mr. Xu Jinghong, chairman of Tsinghua Holdings Co., Ltd., Mr. Chen Hongbo, executive vice CEO of Tus-Holdings and other leaders met with the guests. Vice President Yang Bin expressed that he welcomed and expected the cooperation between Western Digital Corporation and Tsinghua University in the industrial, academic and research areas. Chairman Xu Jinghong pointed out that Tsinghua industrial system represented by Tsinghua Holdings was an organization with dynamic growth, and the cooperation between Western Digital Corporation and Tsinghua would have a meaningful impact in the global innovation area.
