Wang Jiwu Hold a Work Meeting with Viktor Vekselyberg, President of Skolkovo FoundationPrint

On November 10, Wang Jiwu, President of Tus-Holdings was invited to a conference with Viktor Vekselyberg, President of the Skolkovo Foundation and Vasiliy Belov, Senior Vice President in charge of innovation, who came to Beijing for APEC. It was already the third high-level meeting between Tus Holdings and the national innovation organization of Russia in one month. Both parties had an achieving meeting on the further cooperation between the two major technological innovation institutions of China and Russia Andrey Fursenko, President Assistant of Russia also attended the meeting.  


Following the 3rd Moscow Open Innovation Forum attended by Wang Jiwu, President of Tus Holdings and the signing of Framework Agreement of Strategic Cooperation with the Skolkovo Science Park from October 9-15, and the Sino-Russia Round Table Meeting in the name of Science Park and Innovation Development Area: a new dimension of international cooperation co-hosted by TusHoldings and the Russian party in Shanghai on October 26, the cooperation between TusHoldings and the Skolkovo Innovation Center of Russia has been elevated to the highest level.

During the meeting, both sides had an in-depth communication on establishing a Sino-Russia Joint Innovation Center, a research finding commercialization platform ,a joint IPR center and incubator by TusHoldings and Skolkovo Foundation as well as Tus Holdings participating in the Phase Two construction of the Skolkovo Innovation Center and providing technological innovation service. President Wang Jiwu proposed seven specific steps for implementing the mutual cooperation, on which Viktor Vekselyberg, President of Skolkovo Foundation gave his feedbacks. The two parties worked out a road map of implementing the steps and it was further refined by department-level meetings between the Skolkovo delegation and TusHoldings.  
 

According to the leaders of Tus Holdings and the Skolkovo Foundation, President Xi Jinping of PRC and Presdient Putin of Russia both attached great importance on the cooperation on technological innovation during the APEC meeting held in Beijing. As two major innovation institutions of China and Russia, Tus Holdings and Skolkovo Holdings will have a bright cooperation perspective. Both sides expressed willingness to establish a model for the technological innovation cooperation between the two countries by establishing a fair, practical and win-win cooperative relationship.

Li Zhiqiang, Secretary of Party Committee of Tus holdings and Director of Tsinghua Science Park Administration, Zhao Dong, Vice President of Tus Holdings, Yuan Wei, Senior Vice Chairman of Tus Holdings, General Manager of Tus Jin Kong Investment Co., Ltd, Miao Chun, Deputy Director of Tus Technological Assets Operation Center and Wang Dongzheng, Responsible Person for the Sino-Russian project of the Tus Technological Assets Operation Center attended the meeting.
