Led by Vasiliy Belov, Senior Vice President mainly in charge of innovation of the Skolkovo Foundation from Russia, a senior delegation from Skolkovo paid a two-day visit to Tus Holdings and TusPark from November 11 to 12. Wang Jiwu, President of Tus Holdings met with the Russian delegation and both sides exchanged views on establishing a long-term strategic cooperation. Li Zhiqiang, Secretary of Party Committee of TusHoldings and Director of the Administration of TusPark, Zhang Jinsheng, Vice President of TusHoldings and Chairman of TusHoldings Incubator and Chen Xiang, Senior Vice President of Tus Holdings were present at the meeting.
The Skolkovo Foundation is the builder and operator of the Skolkovo Innovation Center, the national innovation institution of Russia. Tus Holdings is one of the first organizations that observed and studied the Skolkovo Innovation Center as well as establish contact with the center. In the context that the national leaders of both countries attach a great importance on technological innovation, as two important innovation platforms of the two countries, Tus Holdings and Skolkovo have upgraded the mutual dialogue to the highest level. On November 10, witnessed by Andrey Fursenko, President Assistant of Russia, Wang Jiwu, President of Tus Holdings was invited to a conference with Viktor Vekselyberg, President of Skolkovo Foundation, who came to Beijing for APEC. A cooperation roadmap was planned during the meeting.
Both sides fully exchanged views on future cooperation direction, cooperation suggestions and specific steps. And the cooperation road map planned by Wang Jiwu, President of Tus Holdings and Viktor Vekselyberg, President of the Skolkovo Foundation was further refined.The business sector promotion and cooperation meeting was hosted by Li Zhiqiang. Liu Qun, Vice President of Beijing Yadu Environment Protection Technology Co., Ltd, Li Xuguang, Vice President of Beijing Tsinghua Solar Energy Development Co., ltd, Shen Quanhong, General Manager of Beijing Tus Business Incubator Co., Ltd, Wang Nai and Sun Man, Vice Directors of Marketing and Development of Tus Holdings, Miao Chun, Senior Manager of Tus Technological Assets Operation Center, Meng Yu, General Manager of Tus Cultural and Media Stocking Co., Ltd. and Zang Ming, Vice General Manger of Tus Education Investment (Beijing) Co., Ltd briefed their own business sector and expressed their intention and suggestions of working with the Russian side. Then, based on the decision made by Wang Jiwu and the delegation head of the Russian side, both parties had a one-on-one discussion on legal affairs and IPR, incubator and infrastructure construction, innovation study, commercialization of research findings and service items, respectively. The two sides fully exchanged views on future cooperation direction, cooperation suggestions and specific steps. The Russian attendees in the meeting are Vasiliy Belov, Senior Vice President of the Skolkovo Foundation, Nikolay Grachev, Vice President and Energy Efficiency Technology Cluster Manager of the Skolkovo Foundation, Anton Pushkov, Director Partner of the IPR Center of the Skolkovo Foundation, Yuriy Sapykin, Vice General Manager of Skolkovo Science Park and Darya Lipatova, Foreign Affair Director of the Skolkovo Science Park.
According to the agreement made during the two-day meeting, Wang Jiwu, President of TusHoldings and Belov, Senior Vice President of the Skolkovo Foundation determined the range, direction and implementation road map for the cooperation. It was also decided that the framework agreement of the strategic cooperation will be signed as soon as possible.
