Delegates from UNESCO Visit TusparkPrint

Mr. Yoslan Nur, the officer and expert on scientific assessment and policy of United Nations Education, Science and Culture Organization, visited Tsinghua science park on the afternoon of August 7. Vice president of Tuspark Co., Ltd, Chen Hongbo met the guests, Director of president office of Tuspark Co., Ltd. Guo Songliu was present in the meeting. Vice president Chen presented the development history and achievements of Tuspark to the visitors. He exchanged opinions with Mr. Yoslan Nur on how to use the platform of Tsinghua Science Park to enhance the cooperation and communication between Chinese enterprises, science parks and related organizations worldwide, speed up the growth of the incubatees and drive development of Local economy.


The rapid development of science parks worldwide has attracted attention of relevant organizations in the United Nations. As a delegate of UNESCO, Mr. Yoslan Nur was often invited to participate in the meetings and seminars sponsored by international association of science park (IASP). The development and achievement of Tuspark has given him deep impression. Mr. Yoslan Nur’s special visit to Tsinghua Science Park will exert far-reaching influence on further integration of international resource network and on promotion of worldwide effect of Tsinghua Science Park.

IASP′s Asia Pacific Division President meets Mr. Yoslan Nur, representative of UNESCO (13/08/2007)


IASP"'s Asia Pacific Division President Mr. Herbert Chen met Mr. Yoslan Nur, UNESCO official, Project Specialist of Science Analysis and Policies Division, at Tsinghua University Science Park (TusPark), Beijing, on 7th August, 2007. Mr. Nur has attended several IASP conferences and closely follows the development of Science Parks around the world.


Herbert Chen introduced the history of development and present achievements of TusPark and discussed with Mr. Yoslan Nur about how to make full use of TusPark as a platform, to increase the cooperation and communication between Chinese science parks and enterprises with worldwide relevant organizations, and to accelerate growth of enterprises in the Science Park. 


Mr. Yoslan Nur was deeply impressed about the development and achievements of TusPark. He said he will try his best to enhance the network of the Science Park, especially in the Asia Pacific region, letting Science Park experts from different countries have more opportunities to know and understand each other.
