President Wang Jiwu Attends the 2015 Work Mobilization Meeting of TusPark Business Incubator Held in TusPark Print

　　On March 9, TusPark Business Incubator held the 2015 Work Mobilization Meeting for all staff in Beijing, fully starting the new journey in 2015. Wang Jiwu (president of TusHoldings), Zhao Dong (vice president of TusHoldings), Wang Shugui (vice president of TusHoldings and general manager of TusHoldings Technological Service, Zhang Jinsheng (vice president of TusHoldings and board chairman of TusPark Business Incubator), Du Peng (vice president of TusHoldings) and other leaders attended the mobilization meeting.

　　At the mobilization meeting, President Wang Jiwu pointed out that the public innovation and entrepreneurship era had come as the best historical period for the development of the incubation business of TusHoldings. On January 28, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang chaired a State Council executive meeting, at which the policy measures in support of the development of “public innovation and entrepreneurship space” were determined to build a service platform for innovation and entrepreneurship; on March 2, the Ministry of Science and Technology held a teleconference of “Develop the public innovation and entrepreneurship space to promote public innovation and entrepreneurship”. And Wan Gang (vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee and minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology) indicated that promotion of public innovation and entrepreneurship must be considered as an important long-term task, which shall be fully implemented to effectively promote the local economic and social development. President Wang Jiwu required that TusPark Business Incubator should respond to the call of the times actively, seize the historical opportunity, take the initiative to undertake the mission endowed by the times, collaborate with other business segments of TusHoldings positively, give full play to the experience and advantages in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship service accumulated in the past 21 years, enhance the expansion of TusStar incubation space for public innovation and entrepreneurship and upgrade the entrepreneurship service scale and ability of TusHoldings. Meanwhile, President Wang Jiwu indicated that TusPark Business Incubator was a core asset of TusHoldings and that TusHoldings would further increase its investment and provide support and guarantee for the business development of TusPark Business Incubator in the new era.

　　Established in 1999, TusPark Business Incubator is the implementation carrier for the incubation of start-up enterprises settled in TusPark and the cultivation of innovative personnel, and takes the lead in adopting the “incubation + investment” business mode in the domestic incubator industry. Since its inception, it has incubated more than 1,000 enterprises cumulatively, including 10 listed companies (e.g. www.ChineseAll.com, Sumavision and Highlander), and built the whole chain of financial services ranging from seed investment and angel investment to industrial mergers & acquisitions and listing. In 2013, TusPark Business Incubator launched the TusStar incubator program with “entrepreneurship training + incubation service + open platform + angel investment”. So far, it has built 9 incubation spaces for public innovation and entrepreneurship in different forms, including TusStarCafe, TusStar Co-Space and TusStar Plaza, with an incubation area of 53,000 square meters and 517 small and micro enterprises under incubation. In 2014, TusStar was entitled by Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology as “Entrepreneurship Base for Small Businesses” and by Zhongguancun Administrative Committee as “Zhongguancun Innovative Incubator”, and granted by IASP the “IASP 2014 Best Practice Award in Science-based Incubators”.
