Hua Jianmin is visiting TusHoldings in TusPark for investigation.

On April 29, Hua Jianmin, vice chairman of the Eleventh Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and director of TusPark Research Institute for Innovation, visited TusHoldings in TusPark for investigation. Yang Bin (vice president of Tsinghua University), Xu Jinghong (board chairman of Tsinghua Holdings and deputy director of TusPark Research Institute for Innovation), Mei Meng (board chairman of TusHoldings and deputy director of TusPark Research Institute for Innovation), Wang Jiwu (president of TusHoldings), Li Zhiqiang (Party secretary of TusHoldings), Chen Hongbo (executive vice president of TusHoldings and deputy director of TusPark Research Institute for Innovation), and Chen Xiang (executive vice president of TusHoldings) accompanied Hua Jianmin during the investigation.

At 9:00am, Hua Jianmin and the accompaniers came to TusPark. In the Sunshine conference hall of TusPark, Chen Xiang gave Hua Jianmin an introduction about TusCity, and reported with priority on the fact that TusHoldings promoted the integrated development of technological innovation concepts, fruits and technologies with new urbanization under the guidance of the development concept of three-zone interaction of “community, park and campus”. Yin Zhiqiang, chief scientist of Sunshine Energy Company, a member of TusHoldings, introduced the photo-thermal development of solar energy and its industrialization China. Hua Jianmin asked in detail the quantity of in-use solar energy collectors in China. After that, Hua Jianmin visited Yadu, another member of TusHoldings, and listened to introductions about its leading technologies in air and water purification field and the related products.

In TusStar Mass-Innovation Space, Hua Jianmin carefully watched the shows of several projects in the incubator such as Amethyst Cubic’s high temperature resistant printing, Hisky’s noninvasive live health quick-positioning testing equipment and Qingnuo bicycles, and asked the progress of the “Peer-to-peer lender” project.  
 In the student innovation and entrepreneurship education platform X-lab of Tsinghua University located in TusPark, Hua Jianmin talked kindly with the students, asked them about the progress of their projects, and watched introduction videos of some characteristic projects. He emphasized that entrepreneurship of young people should be center of entrepreneurship promotion programs, and the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship of young people should be built up. 

Hua Jianmin is listening to the work reports of TusPark Research Institute for Innovation and having an informal discussion with the participants of the symposium.

As the director of TusPark Research Institute for Innovation, Hua Jianmin pays close attention to the work of the Institute. At the symposium of the Institute, he carefully listened to the report of Chen Hongbo, executive vice president of TusHoldings and deputy director of TusPark Research Institute for Innovation, on the completed work, future work plan and development thought of the Institute. At the meeting, Wang Jiwu (president of TusHoldings) reported to Hua Jianmin about the development of “Internet + cluster-type innovation”, and Wen Hui (president of Sunshine Energy Company) introduced the coordinated innovation of enterprise, university and research institute themed by “new environment-friendly energy”. 

After listening to the reports and introductions, Hua Jianmin said that: innovation had become a belief from a concept, and all countries in the world including China had to go the way of innovation; the government’s work reports of this year focused on mass entrepreneurship and innovation, and we should encourage young people to innovate; we wished the Institute to grasp the opportunities in future development, further study the strategic layout, take innovation promotion as a core task, and strengthen technological innovation and institutional innovation; we wished TusPark and TusHoldings to bring into full play the advantages in resources and talents, take innovation practice as a key content of work, and become an important platform of the national strategy of innovation promoted development. 

After the symposium, Hua Jianmin visited the Public Security Research Institute for investigation, accompanied by leaders of Tsinghua University and responsible persons of office of Tsinghua University, Research Institute of Tsinghua University, Tsinghua Holdings, TusHoldings, Tsinghua Solar, Yadu, TusPark Research Institute for Innovation, Tsinghua Industry, and so on.
