Guo Jinlong Visits the Exhibition Area of TusPark in the Hi-tech Expo for Investigation and Encourages College Students to Start up BusinessPrint

On the afternoon of May 14, 2015, Guo Jinlong (a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Party secretary of Beijing City), Wang Anshun (deputy Party secretary of Beijing City, mayor of Beijing City and chairman of the organizing committee of the Hi-tech Expo) and Zhang Gong (deputy mayor of Beijing City) visited the eighteenth China Beijing International Hi-tech Expo (“the Hi-tech Expo”) for investigation. Guo Jinlong talked kindly with the entrepreneurship teams of college students in the TusStar Mass-Innovation Space exhibition area. Zhang Jinsheng and Du Peng (vice presidents of TusHoldings) accompanied Guo Jinlong and reported on the conditions of the participating projects to him.     

After Guo Jinlong and the accompaniers came directly to TusStar Mass-Innovation Space, they carefully investigated Slightech smart electric bike project, a startup project invested by Tus Incubator. “Aiming at the needs and problems in traveling in cities, we abandoned the rotation speed based driving of traditional electric bikes, and designed several types of innovative electric bike centered by active driving system, ” Chen Tengjiao (CEO) of Slightech introduced the design principle, market positioning, product highlights and other information of their smart electric bikes to Guo Jinlong. Guo asked some questions on the process and costs of these products, and commended that “these products are significant for urban transport.” During the talk, Guo knew that Slightech was established by an entrepreneurship team of students of Tsinghua University, and he expressed that business startup activities of college students were significant and should be supported greatly by the government. 

The exhibition area of TusStar Mass-Innovation Space focused on “smart life, smart environment, smart medical care, and smart household appliance” in this Hi-tech Expo, and over ten enterprises incubated or invested by TusPark such as Slightech, Amethyst Cubic, Xiche Technology, Neatrition, Sound Environmental Resources, ONE Smart Piano, Hengzheng Jingji, Tenggle Technologies, Jianxinwei, Hinacom, and China Electronics Intelligence Wireless Technologies. Participation of TusStar in this Expo provides the entrepreneurship teams of college students with greater space and platform, will promote their interaction with the market, and can help them to improve their products, positioning and operating strategies. 

The eighteenth China Beijing International Hi-tech Expo, themed by “leading technological innovation, promoting industrial development”, was opened on May 13, 2015 in China International Exhibition Center, and will be ended on May 17, 2015.
