The Second Batch of National Maker Spaces Published, Two Additional “National Level” Spaces Added in TusPark IncubatorPrint

After it was recognized as a national incubator in 2002, TusStar was chosen as one of the first batch of national maker spaces in December 2015. On Jan. 29, 2016, Ministry of Science and Technology published the list of the second batch of national maker spaces, which includes TusStar (Weifang) and TusStar (Nanjing). 
 

TusStar (Weifang) incubation base was established jointly by Beijing TusPark Business Incubator Co., Ltd. in TusPark and the government of Weifang High Tech Industry Development Zone, with a total incubation area of 29,497m2, and positioned as an incubator and accelerator operation center. This base will make use of the clustered development advantages of Weifang High Tech Industry Development Zone in four industrial parks, build good innovation atmosphere, gather entrepreneurship factors, integrate resources, and provide such innovation services as investment invitation, incubator operation, entrepreneurship guiding, and integration of enterprises, colleges and research institutes by virtue of the rich experience of TusPark with respect to startup business incubation, hi-tech enterprise development, innovative talent fostering, commercialization of research findings. It will be built to an operation center that mainly consists of star enterprises and drives common development of SMEs and startup enterprises.   


TusStar Energy Saving and Environment Protection Specialized Incubator (Nanjing) is a project jointly developed by TusPark Business Incubator and TusPark Jiangsu under the concept of “one brand, two cities”. With this project, TusPark Business Incubator will supply such resources as mature incubator operation system, environmental protection related project library and IT supporting systems to Nanjing, and help to gain considerable influence in the field of incubator; TusPark Jiangsu will make the best of the location advantages and local policy advantages, gather environmental protection startup projects all over China, and foster a batch of excellent startup enterprises in the environmental protection industry by virtue of professional technical services, wide financial resources and advanced incubation system.
