On the noon of June 27, 2016, a delegation of important economic officials of Thailand led by Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak, the primary vice primer and finance minister of Thailand, visited TusHoldings, and had a diner with Mr. Wang Jiwu (board chairman of TusHoldings) and representatives of scores of Chinese innovative technology enterprises. They sincerely invited the new force of innovation and entrepreneurship in China to participate in the economic reform and transformation of Thailand and make contribution to economic boom of China and Thailand and even the whole Asia.

As the primary vice primer and finance minister of Thailand, Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak made great efforts to help the Thai economy pull through the financial crisis in 1997. In his opinion, the word “crisis” in Chinese has the deeper meaning of “opportunities come from dangerous situations”, and in despite of the global economic downturn, the crisis brings Asia greater opportunities. He believed that the 21st century will be a century of rising of Asia, and Thailand, located at the core of ASEAN and on the channel of China’s “Belt and Road” initiative, will firmly grasp the opportunity to promote its economic upgrading and development and play a more important role in the whole Asia. To change the economic and production mode of rough processing relying on cheap labor force and export of raw materials, the Thai government is making great efforts to implement economic reform policies to change the industrial structure. They sincerely welcome various Chinese enterprises to invest in Thailand, and to particularly strengthen the cooperation in the ten key industries such as new energy, digital economy, biological technology, agriculture, tourism, and so on.

Mr. Wang Jiwu (board chairman of TusHoldings) is having a cordial talk with Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak (the primary vice primer and finance minister of Thailand).

In the last year, TusHoldings had many times of exchanges with the Thai government and some leading Thai enterprises in key industries, and reached several agreements on cooperation intention. Mr. Wang Jiwu expressed that, as the first scientific and technological service group with assets reaching over a hundred billion Yuan in China, TusHoldings has the largest scientific and technological innovation ecological network in the world, and keeps promoting the growth and development of emerging industries by virtue of emerging technologies all along. It is leading in such emerging industries as environmental protection, new energy, lithium battery and massive health, and is highly complementary with the development demands of Thailand. What’s more coincidental, TusHoldings just realized its leap-forward growth during the upgrading of Chinese economy from the primary industrialization to the new technology based industrialization, and just initiated cooperation with Thailand at the key point of Thailand’s economic transformation, indicating an integration of favorable timing, geographical and human conditions.

Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak, vice primer of Thailand, is giving a themed speech.

To actively serve the “Belt and Road” strategy of China and realize the industrial linking between TusHoldings and ASEAN countries including Thailand, TusHoldings focuses on its development and expansion in Yunnan. TusPark Yunnan has become a sub-headquarters base of TusHoldings facing South Asia and Southeast Asia, and is linking with the resources of many circles in Thailand such as government, business and academy by virtue of its location advantages. In December 2015, a delegation led by board chairman Wang Jiwu paid a visit to Thailand, during which Wang Jiwu met Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak for the first time and signed on behalf of TusHoldings a strategic MoU with the National Innovation Bureau of Ministry of Science and Technology of Thailand under the intense promotion of the minister and the bureau director. They agreed to strengthen deep exploration and practice in terms of encouraging economic transformation of the two parties, supporting the development of high-tech innovative enterprises, promoting technical exchange at government and enterprise levels, strengthening investment, and so on. As for this second time meeting with Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak, Mr. Wang Jiwu expressed that they wished the visit of the delegation led by Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak could “add firewood to boil the water” for the cooperation between TusHoldings and Thai parties. He said that “TusHoldings can effectively participate in the ‘Belt and Road’ initiative and promote its international development only by joining the industrial upgrading in Thailand. There is a great cooperation space between TusHoldings and Thailand in the field of new type infrastructure investment and construction, including such fields as new energy, Internet and big data. We wish to bring the investment capacity of China in emerging industries to Thailand as soon as possible, and help Thailand to successfully complete the economic transformation.”

We sincerely invite you to come to Thailand for investigation and investment together with TusHoldings, and we will provide the greatest supports”, said Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak.
