KISED Global Incubation and Acceleration Program is a transnational incubation and acceleration program set by Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (KISED) to support the overseas development of Korean enterprises, aiming to promote the development of Korean start-ups in foreign countries and regions by virtue of cooperation with excellent accelerators from all over the world. After the preparation, bidding and project selection processes started in March 2016, TusHoldings became the only accelerator chosen by this Program in China other than the Venture Port accelerator that has a background of Korean government, and TusStar, an incubation platform of TusHoldings, provided a three-month incubation for the chosen Korean start-ups.

Herbert Chen, executive vice president of TusHoldings, said in his speech that he was very pleased to see the progress of the Korean Entrepreneurial Team, and was thankful for the trust of the Korean government and enterprisers. He wished the Korean enterprisers a greater success in the future.
As introduced by Wang Yongrui (vice general manager of TusStar), TusStar engaged an entrepreneurship mentor for each Korean enterprise during the incubation to provide one-to-one guidance. After two weeks of centralized entrepreneurship training, the Korean enterprises quickly got preliminary knowledge on the domestic entrepreneurship environment and a deeper understanding of their business modes. In addition, TusStar organized such events as “An Entrepreneurial Trip to the Yangtze Delta” to help the Korean enterprises better understand the Chinese market and link up with local governments, industries and other entrepreneurship resources through a visit to Shanghai, Ningbo and Suzhou by virtue of TusStar’s nationwide network.

At the graduation ceremony, the Korean start-ups under the KISED Global Incubation and Acceleration Program performed graduation road shows in turn. The entrepreneurship mentors recognized the performance of these enterprises and issued project diplomas to the enterprises guided by them.
This Sino-Korean cooperation project successfully helped the incubated Korean enterprises to enter the Chinese market, and provided guidance and services for them in respect to financing, marketing, business expansion, production & construction and so on. Shang Wei, foreign affairs manager of TusHoldings, expressed that this project had enabled TusHoldings to accumulate valuable practical experience in helping overseas start-ups to settle down in China for incubation and that TusHoldings would thus have more deep cooperation with Korean government, enterprises and colleges based on this project to jointly promote the innovation and entrepreneurship in China and Korea and deepen the friendship between the two countries.
