The annual world conference of IASP is a grand meeting of global science park managers, researchers and enterprisers in this field all along. An Hongping, vice president of TusHoldings, shared with the global partners the recent thoughts and practices of TusHoldings. After the financial crisis, all countries faced deep and structural problems in development. New technologies could promote sustainable economic restructuring, and innovation and R&D could be very influential to the whole world. In such context, TusHoldings brought forward the theory of “clustering innovation”, which had two core advantages: organic integration of innovations; self-growing once formed. This means that clustering innovation is conducive to collaboration among countries and various resources and can help to meet the new trend of global innovation. TusHoldings is working closely with such national strategies as the “Belt and Road” initiative to gradually build innovation networks in the whole world, including Eurasia.

This conference, with the theme of “The Global Mind - Linking Innovation Communities for Internationalization, Sustainability and Growth”, had totally four plenary meetings respectively focusing on “Science Parks and Areas of Innovation: Collective Thinking”, “Science Parks and Areas of Innovation: Value Adding Process of Investment”, “Influence of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation” and “Global Talents: Covetable Treasure”. In addition, it set parallel forums and added such elements as science park link-up meetings and new technology experience halls.

Established 32 years ago, IASP is an international organization mainly consisting of science parks and areas of innovation in the world, devoted to strengthening the exchange and cooperation among global managers of science parks and areas of innovation. It has over 400 members in 73 countries and regions, covering about 142,000 enterprises. To make the best of IASP’s built global science park network and support the development and internationalization of Chinese science parks, IASP set IASP China Office, the only overseas office of this Association, in TusPark. And this Office has gradually become a window for the world to know Chinese science parks and a bridge for Chinese science parks to advance toward the world.
