From September 24-26, 2016, the Second China-Israel Investment Summit was held in Tel Aviv-Yafo, a coastal city of Israel. Many famous government officers, business celebrities and technological celebrities from China and Israel attended this conference, including Tzachi Hanegbi (a minister in the Prime Minister’s Office), Amit Lang (a director of the Ministry of Economics and Industries of Israeal), Yariv Levin (minister of tourism of Israel), Dan Shechtman (a winner of Nobel prize), Zhan Yongxin (Chinese ambassador in Israel) and Matan Vilnai (Israel ambassador in China). Yuan Wei, president of TusHoldings, also attended this summit upon invitation, and had a roundtable dialog on the “Belt and Road” initiative with Jia Jiantao (deputy mayor of Harbin) and Wang Qingli (deputy mayor of Zhuhai). Yuan Wei shared with the participants the experience and achievements of TusHoldings in clustering network construction and international cooperation in the past two decades.

Yuan Wei expressed that the innovation related cooperation between TusHoldings and Israel could be carried out in three aspects: Firstly, to strengthen the existing technology transfer and the cooperation in hi-tech project investment; Secondly, to build innovation centers in Israel to support the exchange and integration of enterprises in China and Israel; Thirdly, to build a China-Israel science city in China and build a good innovation and entrepreneurship environment at national level. She pointed out that the cooperation in these aspects should be carried out gradually from easy and shallow projects to difficult and deep ones, so as to develop it into a model of the innovation related cooperation under the “Belt and Road” strategy.

China-Israel Investment Summit is the largest innovation related conference in Israel, gathering managers and decision makers of over 500 technological companies in Israel and over 1,000 Chinese strategic partners and investors to summarize the cross-border business operation between China and Israel and jointly discuss feasible investment plans and potential future cooperation. This Summit was jointly organized by Infinity Group and “Investment in Israel” of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Israel, and received great supports from the governments of both countries.
