Darius Adamczyk (Global President and COO of Honeywell) Pay a Visit to TusHoldingsPrint

On October 19, 2016, a delegation led by Darius Adamczyk (global president and COO of Honeywell) visited TusHoldings. This delegation investigated the innovation & entrepreneurship system of TusHoldings, and exchanged opinions with Wang Jiwu (board chairman of TusHoldings) and Yuan Wei (president of TusHoldings) concerning the framework and fields of cooperation between the two parties.

In the discussion, Wang Jiwu expressed welcome to the delegation led by Darius Adamczyk, and then reviewed the exchange and cooperation between TusHoldings and Honeywell in the previous year. He expressed that TusHoldings persisted in the development strategy of global collaboration and technological innovation and that TusHoldings (a technology centered and quickly growing innovative enterprise) and Honeywell (a technology oriented and globally leading manufacturing enterprise) had some values in common. Therefore, TusHoldings has deemed Honeywell as one of the most important international partners. Wang Jiwu hoped that the two parties could grasp the historical opportunity of the “mass entrepreneurship & innovation” strategy and the “Belt and Road” strategy, use scientific and technological means to promote industrial upgrading, convert the inventions and applications of emerging technologies into emerging industries, and jointly face the opportunities and challenges brought about by the present world economy.

Darius Adamczyk said, “I learned a lot from this visit to TusHoldings. TusHoldings not only provids a good environment for innovation and entrepreneurship but also creates a good development opportunity and platform for the youth in China. This is a great contribution to China and even the whole world.” He also expressed that, like other industrial technology based companies, Honeywell was under a strategic transformation from a traditional product oriented enterprise into a manufacturing enterprise integrating digital systems and hardware, facing the digital world and leading in technologies. Under such a background, Honeywell is willing to build closer cooperation relationship with TusHoldings, actively participate in the innovation & entrepreneurship activities in China, and promote the conversion of the concepts and technical prototypes incubated by the incubator of TusHoldings into real products or solutions.

Yuan Wei, president of TusHoldings, pointed out in the meeting that the intelligent manufacturing accelerator project jointly sponsored by TusHoldings and Honeywell and settled in TusPark Caohejing (Zhongshan) in Songjiang District, Shanghai had smooth progress at present; Based on the good beginning of cooperation, the two parties could further explore the potential of cooperation, particularly in such fields as venture capital and investment.   


In response to the speech of Yuan Wei, Darius Adamczyk expressed that Honeywell would like to have more cooperation in the fields where the two parties had complementary advantages, and would organize dialogs of senior representatives of both parties and key industrial experts by building regular communication platforms, so as to conduct joint research and appraisal on the jointly invested technical enterprises and to discuss the cooperation approaches.  


After discussion, the two parties reached an agreement that a joint work team would be set up and a quarterly exchange mechanism would be built to timely explore and discuss development opportunities and business cooperation space.

Before the meeting, the delegation also visited TusStar Incubator and the exhibition hall of TusHoldings, where they listened to an introduction on the business conditions and development achievements of TusHoldings.
