The Press Conference for Acquisition of Canadian Listed Company BIOREM by TusHoldings & Atmospheric VOC Control Exchange Meeting was held in Beijing on January 12. Yuan Wei, President of TusHoldings, Derek Webb, CEO of BIOREM, Wang Shugui, Executive Vice President of TusHoldings and Chairman & President of Tus-S&T Service Group, Nicole Pei, Person-in-charge of China Region of BIOREM, Fu Tao, Chief Partner of E20 Environmental Platform & Dean of E20 Research Institute, Zhang Jinsheng, Vice President of TusHoldings & Chairman of TusStar, and representatives of all business segments of TusHoldings attended the conference and witnessed BIOREM to formally join in the TusHoldings Family. 
 

Tus-Water under TusHoldings acquires the common stocks, convertible bonds and warrants of BIOREM held by its original first majority shareholder together with Tus-Financial via overseas platform. After transaction completed and powers performed, TusHoldings will become a controlling shareholder of BIOREM, holding about 60% of total shares (fully diluted). 
 

During the conference, Derek Webb introduced team composition, technical advantages and other related aspects of BIOREM, and then analyzed the development opportunities and challenges of BIOREM. BIOREM has already operated and constructed more than 1,000 projects in 19 countries and regions all over the globe at present. He thought the condition that BIOREM joins in TusHoldings under the historical background of global air pollution receives much concern is a start for BIOREM to sail a new journey, and BIOREM will also greet its best development period. He emphasized that after joining in TusHoldings, BIOREM will cooperate with all business segments of TusHoldings, keep specialty in specific fields, provide better products and solutions to customers and make contributions to atmospheric controlling in China and even all over the world. 
 

Yuan Wei said, “The joining of BIOREM will promote and perfect the industrial chain layout of TusHoldings in the field of environmental protection, especially the field of atmospheric controlling, so as to improve TusHoldings’ comprehensive strength in environmental protection. With the brand value, international channel and core competitiveness deposited over 26 years’ development, BIOREM will highly cooperate with multiple business segments of TusHoldings to further assist TusHoldings to reach internationalization strategy.” According to Yuan Wei, BIOREM will insist its orientation of internationalization and develop into a core enterprise of TusHoldings in the field of air pollution control, and TusHoldings will also cooperate with BIOREM to dig cooperative potentials in the field of soil treatment, water treatment and solid waste treatment to jointly provide comprehensive environmental solutions to the government. 
 

“Acquisition of BIOREM by TusHoldings is a great event in environmental protection industry.” Fu Tao said, “E20 environmental platform has witnessed TusHoldings’ cooperation with Sound, Thunip, Singapore Hyflux and Canada BIOREM successively, and TusHoldings has marched towards to environmental protection industry in big strides and it has become a benchmarking enterprise in the industry”. He thought, based on the highly coordinated industrial layout, TusHoldings could combine more effective resources of the field of environmental protection and is expected to create a new future of the environmental protection industry. 

On the Exchange Meeting, persons in charge of Tus-S&T Service, Tus-Water, Tus-Financial and Thunip shared the background and cooperation vision for the acquisition of BIOREM by TusHoldings. Wang Shugui praised the international layout of BIOREM, and thought that the “environmental protection + biology” field it engages in is very forward-looking and could coordinate with business segments of TusHoldings for saltant breakthroughs.

According to Zhao Qing, Senior Vice President of TusHoldings & General Manager of Tus-Water, while assisting BIOREM to develop Chinese market, they wish to export more Chinese excellent environmental protection products, combine overseas atmospheric controlling market resources and embody the value of TusHoldings on the markets along “the belt and road” with the international channels and brand influence of BIOREM.
