“During the 67 years after establishment of diplomatic relations, friendship, mutual benefits and cooperation have become the main tune of the relationship between China and Finland. In this April, President XI Jinping paid a state visit to Finland. During this visit, leaders of the two countries determined a future-oriented innovative partnership, opened up a new chapter of Sino-Finnish relation, and launched new policies for Sino-Finnish cooperation,” said HAN Qide in his speech. He reviewed the achievements in Sino-Finnish cooperation, and held the view that the two countries had huge cooperation potential and wide cooperation space due to highly consistent strategies and mutual complementary economic advantages. He proposed main directions of future cooperation between the two parties based on the three key words of “innovation”, “green” and “sustainable”, and expected the governments, enterprises and entrepreneurs in the two countries to jointly make new contributions to the economic growth of China and Finland.
