Central Committee of CPC and Director of the Central Financial Leading Group, gave a themed speech on the “Economic Policy of China”, and attended the high-level round table dialog themed “Create a Sharing Future: Build a Better Commercial World with Combination of Finance and Innovation” jointly organized by Secretary General of International Chamber of Commerce, President of Tsinghua University and UN Sustainable Development and Solution Network Leadership Council. The delegation also participated in other events jointly organized by Tsinghua University and others such as the second “Belt and Road” Davos Forum, Night of China, and Dinner Party of Alumni of Tsinghua University.

On January 26, Jinghong XU participated in the TV debate themed “Asia Works: the Fourth Industrial Revolution” as a speaker, together with Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Kobsak Pootrakool, Minister Assistant at the Office of Prime Minister of Thailand, Shailendra Singh, Managing Director of Sequoia Capital, and William Tanuwijaya, Co-founder and CEO of Tokopedia Corporation in Indonesia. They discussed about the main challenges and opportunities for Asian economies in the future and how to surpass traditional industrialization way and keep regional competitive strength.

As a strategic partner, Jinghong XU was invited to participate in a series of meetings of the Presidium of World Economic Forum, discussed with others about the current world situation, how to promote development of global innovative enterprises, and the prospect of network security, and shared his opinions on “creating a shared future in a fractured world”.

Jinghong XU shared the experience and stories of Tsinghua Industry in a special live report of Economic News of CCTV focusing on “scientific and technological cooperation promotes mutual assistance and win-win development of the countries along the ‘Belt and Road’” together with Xiandong JING, CEO of Ant Financial. Jinghong XU also accepted the special interviews of Tencent, Yicai.com and NetEase, and shared his opinions concerning the theme of the annual meeting of Davos Forum, “Belt and Road” international cooperation, innovation and entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, sharing economy, and so on.
