A Delegation Led by Bruno Bruins, Minister for Medical Care and Sports of the Netherlands, Visits TusHoldings to Promote the Interaction between Chinese and Dutch Enterprises in Medical Care and Health IndustriesPrint

From April 8 to April 13, a large economic and trading delegation led by Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of the Netherlands, visited China. During this period, a business delegation of life science and health led by Bruno Bruins, Minister for Medical Care and Sports of the Netherlands, visited TusHoldings on April 10, and had deep communication with Hebert CHEN, COO of TusHoldings, and the medical care and health division of TusHoldings to promote the interaction between relevant scientific research and innovation resources in the Netherlands and even the whole Europe and Chinese S&T enterprises and industrial markets.


Bruno Bruins expressed that this visit provided them with new understanding of China and Chinese enterprises, and they saw the great space and potential of China-Netherlands cooperation. “Before visiting TusHoldings, I searched much information on TusHoldings and TusPark. I’m very interested in the development of TusHoldings. For Dutch enterprises, cooperation with TusHoldings will be a good start for their entry into Chinese market,” he said.
 

Hebert CHEN introduced the development course of TusHoldings and TusPark, and the business layout of TusHoldings as the first hundred-billion scientific and technological service enterprise in China in three business segments of “science park, science & technology industry, and science & technology finance”. During the communication he expressed that: innovation and entrepreneurship projects of Dutch enterprises must have some opportunities of cooperation with Chinese enterprises in terms of technology; however, it would be a difficult and uncertain process to create an excellent enterprise from an advanced technology; thus for the purpose of cooperation, enterprises in the two countries should seek common ground while reserving differences, and march toward a common goal.


On the same day, more than ten Dutch enterprises in fields of new drug development, rehabilitation and disease identification, including Amarna Therapeutics, Brightlands Maastricht Health Campus, D’Andrea & Evers Design, participated in roadshows of China-Netherlands Medical Care and Health Project and shared the latest achievements of Dutch enterprises in the field of health.


Bas van den Dungen, Director of Medical Care Department of the Netherlands, introduced the advantages and opportunities of the Netherlands in the field of biomedicine before the roadshow. He said that the Netherlands was world-leading in biomedical R&D strength, and there were not only large-scale leading enterprises but also numerous small-and-medium-sized innovative enterprises in Netherlands. He expected that “this roadshow could strengthen the exchange and cooperation between Chinese enterprises and Dutch enterprises in biomedicine and other fields, and promote more Dutch enterprises to develop in China.” 


At the meeting, AO Hushan, Secretary General of Chinese Society of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesiology, HE Huanrong, Vice President of Tus-Science & Technology Service Group, and representatives of the Dutch enterprises exchanged opinions on the status quo of medical products and technologies to deeply explore cooperation opportunities.
