A Delegation Led by Poulsen, Minister for Employment of Denmark, Visits TusHoldingsPrint

On September 20, Chairman Jiwu WANG had a symposium with the delegation led by Poulsen, Minister of Employment of Denmark, in TusPark, Beijing. The two parties exchanged opinions on the fields and modes of future cooperation in North Europe. 


Chairman Jiwu WANG firstly introduced the development history and business areas of TusHoldings. He said that TusHoldings brought forward innovatively the model of “multidimensional triple helix”, organically integrated “government + enterprise + university”, “park + industry + finance”, and “technology + industry + capital”, built hundreds of innovation bases in the world, and developed a global innovation ecosystem with leading scale. He also introduced that TusHoldings followed the 1:2 industrial development model, which means that for each incubator or science park established, double investment is made into related emerging industries to build clusters of strategic emerging industries; at present, TusHoldings was managing more than 200 funds and more than RMB 200 billion of total assets. Taking TusPark Cambridge for example, he introduced the cooperation mode of “opening-up and technology integration” advocated by TusHoldings. With reference to the cooperation between TusHoldings and UK, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Italy and other countries, he expressed that “we are highly willing to cooperate with Denmark, and wish to build a Nordic innovation center of TusHoldings in Denmark while strengthening the cooperation in the fields of science park, digital industry, energy, and so on.”


Minister Poulsen was very interested in the development history and business mode of TusHoldings. He said that the operation and development mode of TusHoldings had considerable characteristics of Tsinghua, and both the Danish government and the University of Copenhagen expected the cooperation with TusHoldings; there would be great space of cooperation between Denmark and TusHoldings in the fields of environmental protection, energy, robotics, and smart and precise agriculture. “I’ve paid close attention to the future development strategy of TusHoldings in Europe. The Danish ambassador will grant authorizations to investment teams and innovation teams. We expect substantial progress in the cooperation with TusHoldings.”


Before the symposium, the delegation led by Minister Poulsen also visited the digital exhibition hall of TusHoldings. The delegation also includes Shige DAI, Ambassador of the Danish Embassy in China, Jensen, Secretary General of Ministry for Employment of Denmark, Danielson, Deputy Secretary General of the ministry, Special Adviser of the ministry, Personal Assistant to the Minister, First Secretary of the Danish Embassy in China, Christensen, leader of the S&T Foreign Affair Team of the embassy, and Yalin MENG, Economic Officer of the embassy. 

Ming YANG, Special Assistant to Chairman of TusHoldings and President of Tus-Science & Technology Service Group, Yaoda LIU, Executive President of Tus-Digital Group, Dexiang WANG, Managing Director of TusPark Europe (Luxembourg) S&T Investment Co., Ltd., and Zhigang MA, International Business Development Director of Tus-Science & Technology Service, also participated in the symposium.
