​Board Chairman WANG Jiwu Attends the Unveiling Ceremony of the “TUS-MSU (Sino-Russian) Innovation Complex” and Delivers a SpeechPrint

On January 15, the “TUS-MSU (Sino-Russian) Innovation Complex Unveiling Ceremony and Sino-Russian Scientific Research & Industrial Combination Seminar” was held at Moscow State University. WANG Jiwu, Board Chairman of TusHoldings, and Sadovnichy, President of Moscow State University, attended the event and cut the ribbon. This event was held as required by the cooperation agreement between TusHoldings and Moscow State University signed on March 25, 2019. It was also the first important project at the beginning of the Sino-Russian Year of Technological Innovation in 2020.

At the venue, Sergey Gorkov, Board Chairman of Росгеология and the head of a delegation, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with WANG Jiwu, Board Chairman of TusHoldings. ZHENG Rongyue, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics of Ningbo University and the head of a delegation, exchanged a cooperation agreement with the Moscow State University on behalf of the Ningbo University. Katerina Tikhonova, CEO of Innopraktika, and Anatoly Braverman, Vice President of Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), also attended the event. Oliga Rezhkova, the Russian representative of Russia-China Investment Fund, attended and presided over the ceremony.

Ningbo University exchanged a cooperation agreement with Moscow State University.

According to WANG Jiwu, 2020 is the year of Sino-Russian technological innovation, the cooperation between the two countries in technological innovation is highly valued by the governments of both countries, and the successful unveiling and operation of the TUS-MSU (Sino-Russian) Innovation Complex marks the systematic and platform upgrade of the cooperation between TusHoldings and Russia. According to Sadovnichy, the “TUS-MSU (Sino-Russian) Innovation Complex” Project will become the foundation and core of the Russian government’s “Sparrow Hills Tech Valley” Project. He expects that the two parties will work together on the innovation complex platform to promote win-win cooperation in scientific research and industrialization between the two countries.

The “TUS-MSU (Sino-Russian) Innovation Complex” Project aims to build a full-chain S&T service platform for “basic science-applied science-achievement industrialization-S&T finance” between China and Russia. In this event, Ningbo University and Moscow State University determined the cooperation direction of basic mechanics, Росгеология and TusHoldings reached a cooperation intention of digitalization and intelligentization of resources, and CRRC Zhuzhou Institute conducted in-depth business combination with representatives from such institutions as Moscow State University, Russian Railways and RUSNANO.
