TusHoldings and Mizuho Bank Penned an Agreement to Boost Sino-Japanese Cooperation in Technology and Innovation at 2020 CIFTISPrint

On September 6th TusHoldings signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for business cooperation with Mizuho Bank, Ltd. and Mizuho Bank (China), Ltd. at a news conference on the sidelines of the 2020 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) in Beijing. The two sides, with a good foundation for cooperation, will use their respective advantages to the full in the future. It is expected to establish a comprehensive strategic and cooperative relationship in such fields as business facilitation, financial cooperation, and cross-border expansion between Chinese and Japanese companies in support of each other with the necessary convenience to achieve mutual benefit and win-win development. Also, the two will put the growth of both Chinese and Japanese startups under the spotlight as part of efforts to contribute to the further prosperity and industrial development of the two economies.


Before the signing, Mr. Cai Xiaowei, Executive Vice President of TusHoldings, visited the Mizuho Bank pavilion and had an in-depth exchange with Mizuho Bank's President & CEO Koji Fujiwara and Beijing Branch’s President Murata Atsushi. Mr. Koji Fujiwara began with the bank’s history, strategic footprints in China, big mix of corporate clients, and experience of facilitating the growth of startups. Mr. Cai Xiaowei elucidated TusHoldings' commitment to serving science and technology innovation and advancing interaction between innovation resources and regional economic development over the past two decades. Mr. Cai disclosed that TusHoldings has successfully weaved a worldwide web of innovation services with over 300 incubators and science and technology parks and cities as its platform, still expanding. The two also had an in-depth discussion on the trend and changes of startups when COVID-19 is wreaking havoc across the world and exchanged views on how to better serve them under the new circumstances. Both advised that TusHoldings and Mizuho Bank are highly compatible in business direction and development strategy. In the future, both sides can leverage their respective strengths in terms of corporate resources, talent, capital, and technology to continue to fortify exchanges and cooperation and propel the development of science and technology innovation in between.

In his speech on behalf of TusHoldings at the signing ceremony, Mr. Lin Yun elaborated on the two sides’ journey of cooperation and development, affirmed the achievements, and shared his experience in the Sino-Japanese cooperation, while making an analysis in detail of the latest development of young entrepreneurs of the two countries. He hoped that both can avail of the opportunity to further facilitate the growth of more Chinese and Japanese startups. On behalf of Mizuho Bank, Mr. Murata Atsushi delivered a speech, highlighting the services Mizuho Bank (China), Ltd. provides to startups in both economies, including alliance with Japanese counterparts, cross-border expansion, and connection to prospective investors at home and abroad. He convinced that, upon forging into the partnership, both are bound to make fresh contributions to the exchange between Chinese and Japanese startups and large enterprises and to the two economies.

Mr. Cai Xiowei, Mr. Koji Fujiwara, and Mr. Murata Atsushi inked the MOU. Guests including Mr. Lin Yun and Mr. Xia Yong, assistant to the president of the Beijing Branch were present, while Ms. Han Ying chaired the ceremony.
