TusPark Technology Transfer Signs Cooperation MOU with Mato Grosso State of BrazilPrint

On November 7, at the venue of the China International Import Expo (CIIE), TusPark Technology Transfer and Mato Grosso State of Brazil held a signing ceremony for the Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). In the presence of Mauro Mendes, Governor of Mato Grosso State; Han Wei, Vice President of TusHoldings and President of TusPark Technology Transfer; and Yu Danqiu, Deputy Director of the Commerce Commission of Yangpu District, Yuan Su, Deputy General Manager of TusPark Technology Transfer, and Vilmondes Tomain, President of the Agricultural and Livestock Association of Mato Grosso State, signed the MOU on behalf of both parties.
According to the Cooperation MOU, the two sides will carry out cooperation in areas including the exchange of sci-tech talents, coordination of sci-tech industry policies, and transfer and transformation of sci-tech achievements. This cooperation is aimed at promoting the improvement of sci-tech innovation capabilities of both countries, building a closer bilateral industrial chain system, and jointly implementing innovation-driven development.
Mauro Mendes pointed out that Mato Grosso State is actively implementing a series of sci-tech innovation strategies and policies. Biotechnology and renewable energy are key areas for Mato Grosso’s future scientific research and innovation, and China’s development has very important reference significance for Brazil. He stated that he hopes to join hands with TusPark Technology Transfer through this cooperation to jointly tap into sci-tech innovation capabilities, assist the transformation and upgrading of traditional enterprises in Mato Grosso State, and bring new growth impetus to Mato Grosso State.

Han Wei pointed out that today’s signing between TusPark Technology Transfer and Mato Grosso State is a further deepening of the cooperation between TusHoldings and the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation of Mato Grosso State, Brazil. She expressed the hope that, taking this signing as a starting point, TusPark will deeply participate in the innovation services of Mato Grosso State, integrate TusPark’s professional sci-tech service capabilities, China’s sci-tech innovation resources and the regional advantages of Mato Grosso State, and take agricultural technology as a feature to contribute to the innovative development of sci-tech in both countries.

Vilmondes Tomain gave an introduction to the basic situation of Mato Grosso State. He said that Mato Grosso State is a veritable major grain-producing state and also the state with the fastest industrial growth in Brazil in 2022. He hopes that through cooperation with TusPark Technology Transfer, new vitality will be injected into Mato Grosso State—a hot investment destination with abundant natural resources and boundless business opportunities.
