University of Castilla-La Mancha of Spain Visits TusHoldings and Tours TusParkPrint

On June 17, a delegation from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) of Spain visited TusPark. Raúl Martín Martín, Vice Rector for Internationalization of UCLM, held a talk with Herbert Chen, Senior Executive Vice President of TusHoldings, Deputy Director of the Management Committee of TusPark, and Past President of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP). The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on topics including university-company cooperation, innovative education, and the transformation of sci-tech achievements, and actively explored future cooperation opportunities.

During the seminar, Herbert Chen first introduced the development history of TusPark and its robust global innovation and incubation network, expounded on the significant contribution of science parks to China's innovative development, and shared TusHoldings' comprehensive services in incubation and investment. He pointed out that Spanish universities and startups can leverage the global ecological network already built by TusHoldings to overcome commercial and cultural barriers, and establish more rapid and close in-depth cooperative relationships with the Chinese market and resources.

Raúl Martín introduced the basic background of UCLM, with a focus on analyzing the current status of the coordinated development between the university and industries. Virginia Rodríguez Robledo, Assistant to the Vice Rector for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Employment, provided supplementary explanations. She noted that research is a fundamental pillar of UCLM; the university has 282 research groups and has carried out cooperation with multiple countries, regions, and multinational corporations. UCLM expressed a strong wish to draw on TusHoldings' mature experience in relevant industrial fields and explore synergistic development in innovation in the future.

After the seminar, the UCLM delegation visited TusHoldings' Digital Showroom and TusStar Incubator, gaining a more intuitive understanding of TusHoldings' development.

Other participants in the seminar included members of the UCLM delegation such as Francisco José Sáez Martínez, Vice Rector for Development and Planning of UCLM, and Ángela González Moreno, Vice Rector for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Employment of UCLM; Xu Haiyan, Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute; Wang Fei, Deputy General Manager of TusStar; Zhang Ruochen, Project Manager of the International Cooperation Department of TusStar; and Lin Shiyu, Project Assistant of the International Cooperation Department of TusStar.
