18 Algerian Startups Visit Beijing to Inspect Tus-Holdings and Explore "Top-Tier Sci-Tech Highlights"Print

According to the official WeChat account of "Zhongguancun Innovation and Entrepreneurship": On October 23rd, the "Algerian Startups Beijing Visit and Exchange Event" was successfully held in Beijing. Nearly 50 representatives from 18 outstanding Algerian startups and 4 Beijing-based AI enterprises conducted docking and exchanges. This event received strong support from the Embassy of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria in China, and Mr. Hafik Kesse, Counsellor of the Embassy, attended the event throughout the whole process.

During the event, the delegation of Algerian startups visited the Zhongguancun Exhibition Center, TusPark, and Tus-Holdings. Through on-site inspections, the Algerian enterprises gained a deeper understanding of Beijing's achievements in building an international sci-tech innovation center and creating an open innovation ecosystem, as well as the development status of innovation entities in fields such as artificial intelligence. This event was co-hosted by the Beijing International Science and Technology Cooperation Center (Beijing Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Science and Technology Cooperation Center) and Algeria Venture, and organized by TusStar.

At the event, Algeria Venture, as Algeria's first state-owned startup accelerator, and TusStar respectively introduced their achievements in promoting the development of startups and facilitating international sci-tech cooperation. Four Beijing-based enterprises, namely Huawei Cloud, Z.AI（Zhipu AI）, Zoom Glass, and EncoSmart, demonstrated their innovative technologies and future development directions, which attracted great attention from the guests present:

Huawei Cloud's Startup Program provides low-cost and agile cloud-onboarding solutions for global startups to help them grow rapidly.

Z.AI（Zhipu AI） has promoted technological innovation in multiple fields through its powerful cognitive engine and AI models.

Zoom Glass's AI advertising generation technology has simplified the advertising production process.

EncoSmart has provided an efficient unmanned solution for the catering industry with its robot multi-modal perception technology.

Three Algerian startups in fields such as SaaS, fintech, and food technology also shared their innovative projects and application prospects, and expressed their willingness to conduct further cooperation with Chinese innovation entities and explore the Chinese market. Chinese and Algerian enterprises conducted in-depth exchanges on fields of mutual interest and discussed cooperation opportunities.

Innovation knows no borders, and cooperation promotes development. The Chinese and Algerian innovation entities participating in the event stated that they will take this event as an opportunity to further strengthen cross-border exchanges, joint R&D, and market expansion. They will give full play to the advantages of Beijing's sci-tech resources, promote the transfer and transformation of advanced technological achievements, and jointly promote innovative enterprises to "bring in" and "go global", and actively participate in the high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road Initiative".
