China's Diplomatic Envoys Visits TusParkPrint

    On the morning of February 22, 2011, a delegation of over 40 envoys including Mr. Kong Quan, envoy in France, Mr. Li Hui, envoy in Russia, and Mr. Tang Guoqiang, envoy in Norway, visited Zhongguancun Science Park (Haidian), accompanied by officials including MR. Lin Lin, Director of Bureau for Chinese Diplomatic Missions Abroad of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Song Yumin, Deputy Director of Bureau for Chinese Diplomatic Missions Abroad of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Zhao Huimin, Director of Beijing Foreign Affairs Office, Ms. Tian Yan, Deputy Director of Beijing Foreign Affairs Office, and Mr. Zhang Qian, Deputy Director of Beijing Foreign Affairs Office. They were received by managers including Mr. Fu Shouqing, Deputy President of TusPark (Haidian), Mr. Liu Yongshui, Secretary of Labor Committee of the park, and Ms. Zhang Xiuing, Deputy Director of the park and the Director of International Cooperation’s in the international meeting room of TusPark. Also present were Mr. Zhao Fengtong, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal CPC, Secretary of the CPC of Haidian District, and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Management Committee of Zhongguancun, Mr. Mei Meng, Director of TusPark Development Center, and Mr. Chen Hongbo, Deputy Director of TusPark Development Center.

    During the reception, Mr. Fu Shouqing, as the first to address the party, expressed warm welcome to the delegation of envoys on behalf of the district government. After that, Ms. Zhang Xiuying introduced the objective of the core regions of Zhongguancun on building the global scientific and technological innovation center and their status on independent innovation. Mr. Mei Meng then presented the 16 years of development of TusPark to the distinguished guests present.

    The guests received the presentations with highly-involved attention, and expressed their interests on the work made and achievements gained of TusPark (Haidian) on scientific and technological innovation and independent innovation. They also carried out in-depth discussion with Mr. Meng and other officials on the topics including the industrial structure in the park, as well as the incubation of innovative and entrepreneurial enterprises.
