On November 7-8, Shanghai – The inaugural UAE International Investment Summit (UAE IIS) China Summit was successfully held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) during the China International Import Expo (CIIE). Mr. Yang Ming, Vice President of TusHoldings, was invited as a dialogue guest to attend a high-level roundtable dialogue hosted by the Zayed Sustainability Prize leadership team during the summit. The dialogue centered on the theme "Chinese Innovation Empowering Developing Countries," facilitating in-depth exchanges.

The roundtable brought together innovation leaders, social elites, and youth representatives to focus on three core areas: climate action, technological innovation, and social impact. Discussions revolved around China's role and practices in promoting inclusive growth and a sustainable future for developing countries, analyzing pathways to effectively scale impact in key sectors and strategies for building partnerships.

During the dialogue, drawing on TusHoldings' over three decades of practical experience in operating sci-tech parks and fostering innovation, Mr. Yang Ming addressed key questions such as the "core conditions for successfully transplanting the success factors of Chinese sci-tech parks to developing countries" and the "local ecosystem required for model implementation." He shared TusHoldings' mature experience in building innovation ecosystems and fostering industry-university-research collaboration. He emphasized that TusHoldings' overseas practices consistently adhere to the principle of "adapting to local conditions and pursuing win-win cooperation." The key to replicating the model lies in exporting a mature operational system deeply tailored to local needs, including aligning with local policies, talent base, and industrial fit. As a globally leading technology service provider, TusHoldings remains an active participant in international innovation cooperation and will continue to leverage its resource and model advantages to inject further momentum into innovation synergy and sustainable development between China and other developing countries.
The summit was initiated by the UAE's AIM Global Foundation and chaired by H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade. Recognized as a major national economic and trade event by the UAE Cabinet, the summit carried the core theme "Decoding the Engine of Interconnected Globalization: From 'Going Global' to 'Going Upstream'." It aimed to enhance the quality and upgrade of two-way investment cooperation between the UAE and China, supporting Chinese enterprises in deepening their participation in the Middle Eastern and global market landscapes.
