On December 12th, a delegation from the UK Department for Business and Trade (DBT) visited TusHoldings. Wang Jiwu, Chairman of TusHoldings, and Ma Xiaoming, Executive Director of Hong Kong Baijun Group, received the guests and held in-depth exchanges. The two parties had candid discussions on core topics including the construction of China-UK "Dual Parks", the development of green and low-carbon parks, and international investment cooperation, and reached multiple cooperation consensus, building an important bridge for deepening the coordinated development of governments and enterprises between China and the UK.
This exchange attached great importance to both sides. The UK Department for Business and Trade sent a senior delegation, consisting of Jessica Shuck, Counsellor of the Department for Business and Trade (Infrastructure, Transport and Technology), Diane Lin, Head of Asia Pacific and China at the UK Investment Office, Cathy Franklin, China Country Head, Qian Cheng, China Head of the Infrastructure Department of the Department for Business and Trade, Wu Ruijie, South China Head, Wang Jia, Senior Trade and Investment Officer, etc. Relevant business leaders from TusHoldings also participated in the event, including Saifulin, Executive President, Yang Ming, Vice President, Wang Ruiqi, Vice President of Tus Ice & Snow Technology Group and General Manager of Beijing Qiaobo Ice & Snow World, and Liu Zhenzhen, Director of China Business Development at TusHoldings UK Limited.

During the exchange, the two parties focused on key areas of China-UK scientific and technological cooperation and in-depth explored practical cooperation paths. Regarding China-UK science and technology park cooperation, TusHoldings highlighted the Nanjing Pukou China-UK Science and Technology Cooperation Demonstration Project. As a benchmark carrier for China-UK cooperation, the project is planned to cover diverse business formats, aiming to introduce high-end British design resources and life science and technology enterprises to create a model of China-UK industrial synergy. Meanwhile, the two parties reached a preliminary intention to co-build a China-UK Green Technology Ecological Park in the Shanghai Yangtze River Delta Integration Demonstration Zone, focusing on cutting-edge fields such as green buildings, low-carbon technologies, and life sciences. The UK side clearly stated that it will assist in connecting resources from top institutions such as Imperial College London and the University of Cambridge to support project planning and implementation. In addition, both parties agreed on the "Dual Parks" model and the cooperation mechanism of "government guidance + enterprise leadership + third-party platform coordination". The UK side will leverage DBT and UK international trade resources to link British universities, research institutions and enterprises, while TusHoldings will utilize its mature advantages in carrier construction and industrial operation to jointly promote the effective implementation of cooperation projects.
At the level of international investment and capital operation, TusHoldings shared its international development practices, including mature experience in establishing overseas investment structures through Hong Kong platforms and successfully deploying projects in Cambridge by linking high-quality domestic capital. The UK side highly recognized TusHoldings' international layout and overseas investment capabilities, and clearly expressed its willingness to assist TusHoldings in setting up a regional headquarters in the UK, promoting the UK to become TusHoldings' "overseas headquarters" in Europe, and exploring the co-construction of industrial incubation platforms in innovation-intensive areas such as Cambridge and Oxford. The two parties agreed to explore the establishment of joint funds or cooperation platforms at the project level in the future, focusing on key areas such as green technology, life and health, and the digital economy, to deepen China-UK two-way investment cooperation.
The establishment of intergovernmental cooperation mechanisms became an important consensus of this exchange. The UK side introduced its Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) cooperation mechanism with Chinese competent authorities in the construction field, and proposed to include China-UK cooperation projects such as those in Nanjing and Shanghai into the future medium and long-term pilot cooperation list, promoting policy coordination and standard mutual recognition between China and the UK in fields such as green buildings, urban renewal, and low-carbon standards. TusHoldings stated that it will actively cooperate with the UK side to promote relevant work, help projects be included in the intergovernmental cooperation framework, and further enhance the policy support and international influence of the projects.

In addition to formal discussions, the two parties also had relaxed interactions on topics such as traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) culture and health preservation concepts. The UK delegates showed strong interest in the core idea of "the logic of TCM" put forward by Chairman Wang Jiwu, adding a warm atmosphere of cultural exchange to this practical communication.
This exchange has built an efficient communication platform for both China and the UK, which not only deepened mutual understanding and trust but also clarified the key directions and implementation paths for subsequent cooperation. In the future, TusHoldings will continue to leverage its advantages in science and technology park operation, international resource integration, and industrial ecosystem construction, and work closely with the UK Department for Business and Trade and relevant institutions to promote the rooting and growth of China-UK cooperation projects, contributing positive efforts to promoting China-UK scientific, technological, economic and trade exchanges and supporting the high-quality development of international cooperation.
