Zayed Sustainability Prize Delegation Visits TusPark and Holds Talks with TusHoldings TeamPrint

On March 26, a delegation led by Dr. Lamya Fawwaz, Executive Director of the Zayed Sustainability Prize, visited TusPark and held in-depth exchanges with Yang Ming, Vice President of TusHoldings and Director of IASP China Office. The two sides discussed topics including sustainable development innovation, China-Arab science and technology cooperation, and international project matchmaking.

During the symposium, Dr. Lamya Fawwaz elaborated on the founding background, selection mechanism and global influence of the Zayed Sustainability Prize. She noted that the Prize is committed to honoring and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, non-governmental organizations and high schools worldwide that have made innovative contributions in health, food, energy, water resources, climate action and other fields. Winners will receive the award from the President of the United Arab Emirates at a global sustainable development gala held in Abu Dhabi, and gain support in global exposure, investor matchmaking, commercial implementation and other aspects. She mentioned that China has produced several Lifetime Achievement Award laureates and a number of outstanding winning projects over the years, with 94 applications received from China last year alone. She expressed hope that more Chinese institutions, universities and young innovators will actively participate in the future to showcase China’s innovative achievements in sustainable development through this international platform.

Yang Ming extended a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced the overall layout of the global innovation network built by TusHoldings, as well as its exploration and practices in sustainable development-related sectors such as green and low-carbon development, clean energy, technology incubation and industrial landing. He stated that TusHoldings has long been committed to advancing international scientific and technological innovation cooperation, and has accumulated rich experience in science park operation, industrial resources and cross-border innovation service capabilities. During the 2025 Shanghai CIIE, Yang Ming attended a high-level roundtable dialogue hosted by the Zayed Sustainability Prize leadership team and was deeply impressed by the Prize’s pivotal role in promoting sustainable innovation worldwide and supporting the growth of outstanding projects. He added that TusHoldings is willing to give full play to its advantages in innovation ecosystem and international network, and work with the Zayed Sustainability Prize to advance publicity, promotion and project solicitation in China, while providing incubation, investment and industrial landing support for award-winning projects.

The two sides also agreed to carry out event collaboration around China-Arab scientific and technological innovation cooperation by leveraging international platforms such as China-Arab state-level forums and the IASP World Conference. They will further explore diverse cooperation models including co-construction of science parks and matchmaking of innovation resources in the Middle East, jointly building a bridge for sustainable innovation cooperation between China, the Middle East and the world, and facilitating more high-quality sustainable development solutions to go global. Both sides agreed that this exchange has laid a solid foundation for practical cooperation in resource sharing, event linkage and international promotion in the future. They will continue to strengthen communication and coordination, and take concrete actions to boost the transformation of sustainable innovation achievements and international cooperation. Prior to the meeting, the delegation visited the Digital Exhibition Hall of TusHoldings, gaining a comprehensive understanding of TusHoldings’ practical achievements and ecological layout in scientific and technological innovation incubation, construction and operation of science parks, international innovation cooperation, green and sustainable development and other fields. Through the visit and exchanges, the guests spoke highly of the innovation ecosystem built by TusHoldings relying on TusPark, as well as its achievements in promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and international collaborative innovation.
