Memorandum of Understanding Signed by TusHoldings and International Technological University Deepens China–U.S. Strategic Cooperation in Science and EducationPrint

On June 11, a team led by Chan Yau Gene, President of International Technological University (ITU), visited TusHoldings. Wang Jiwu, Chairman of TusHoldings; Sai Fulin, Executive President; Chen Hongbo, Senior Executive Vice President; Xu Ting, Senior Vice President; Li Yanzhu, Special Assistant to the Chairman; and Wang Haoxuan, General Manager of TusPark Operation Company, attended the welcome ceremony. The two sides held discussions on deepening China–U.S. cooperation in science and education and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

During the visit, President Chan Yau Gene toured the TusHoldings exhibition hall and gained a detailed understanding of the Company's Global Innovation Network and technology service ecosystem. During the meeting, Chairman Wang Jiwu introduced TusHoldings' core mission of facilitating the commercialization of scientific research achievements through technology services, as well as the Company's exploration and practices in the operation of science parks worldwide and the cultivation of talent for emerging industries. He stated that TusHoldings has always valued the importance of education and the fundamental role it plays in promoting scientific innovation and looks forward to working with ITU to establish a long-term cooperation mechanism in such areas as faculty sharing, student internships and exchanges, and joint curriculum development, with the goal of jointly cultivating multidisciplinary professionals with global perspectives in technology and business.


President Chan Yau Gene shared ITU's more than 30 years of experience in higher education in Silicon Valley, as well as the University's distinctive approach to talent cultivation in the fields of technology and business. He stated that the vitality of Silicon Valley stems from its ability to attract talent from around the world and expressed his expectation that cooperation with TusHoldings will create more opportunities for young people from China and the United States to exchange ideas and learn from one another, thereby jointly contributing to the development of global scientific and technological innovation.

Following the meeting, the two parties officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). According to the MOU, the two parties will leverage their respective strengths and resources to explore practical cooperation in such areas as faculty and student exchanges, the establishment of internship opportunities, industry–academia–research project collaboration, and the sharing of international science park network resources, jointly promoting deeper and more practical China–U.S. cooperation in science and education.
