On September 7, 2026, the IASP Chinese Members Salon was held at the Comprehensive Service Center of the China-BRICS New Era Science and Technology Innovation Incubation Park. Hosted by the IASP China Office and organized by the incubation park, the event brought together IASP CEO Ebba Lund and IASP Chinese members from across the country for in-depth discussions on the international growth of innovation platforms and access to global resources.

The salon was chaired by Lin Shuping, Deputy Director of the park's Comprehensive Service Center. Zhang Dianhui, Director of the Comprehensive Service Center and General Manager of Xiamen University Science Park Co., Ltd., welcomed the guests on behalf of the host and briefed them on the park's development. He said the park was honored to host the salon and looked forward to closer exchange and mutual learning among IASP Chinese members, opening up new opportunities for international cooperation between science parks. In her address, Ebba Lund shared the latest developments at IASP and spoke highly of the park's achievements in international cooperation. Earlier that morning, she toured the park's exhibition hall and Comprehensive Service Center, praising its hands-on work in cross-border sci-tech cooperation. She added that she was glad to meet Chinese members in person and hear directly about their needs and expectations, which would help IASP serve them better.

Yang Ming, Director of the IASP China Office and Vice President of TusHoldings, thanked Ebba Lund for taking time out of her busy schedule to attend. He noted that Chinese members enjoy exceptional access within IASP's global network: the China Office is the association's only office outside its headquarters, and Chinese members have the opportunity to meet the CEO face to face every year. Yang Ming also thanked the incubation park and Director Zhang Dianhui for their strong support, recalling that TusHoldings and the BRICS side first explored cooperation five years ago—many of the ideas discussed back then have since become reality. He added that the China Office stands ready to support members in their international development whenever needed.

In the discussion session, representatives of member institutions—including TusPark (Jiangsu) Innovation Research Institute, Beijing Zhongguancun International Incubator, Qianhai Shenzhen Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub, Hainan University Science Park, TusPark Fuzhou, Nanjing Baixia High-tech Industrial Development Zone, and TusPark—presented their organizations' business focus and latest progress, and shared their goals for international growth. Many participants described the IASP global innovation network as a vital bridge connecting Chinese members to the global sci-tech ecosystem, and hoped to see more exchange among members and better access to international resources through the association.

The salon opened a direct channel of dialogue between Chinese members and IASP headquarters and deepened mutual understanding within the membership. Going forward, the IASP China Office will continue to serve its members with a wider range of exchange activities, helping Chinese members engage more fully with the global innovation network.
