In the afternoon of 9th June, John Dodds (Secretary for UK Ministry of Science and Innovation) together with UK ambassadors David Bacon and Sam Myers etc. paid a visit to Tsinghua Science Park with the company of leaders of Policy and Regulations Department of Ministry of Science and Innovation. Xu Jinghong, Tsinghua principal assistant, CEO of Tsinghua Science Park Co., Ltd. received the delegation.

During the past ten years, the Park itself has formed its own theory system, operation models and park culture, and has received great fruits in promoting self-innovation, building platform for researching and producing, improving the commercialization of research findings and cultivating innovation enterprises. Many innovative technologies have reached the level of the globe. What’s more, many companies in the garden have turned the leaders in certain industries. John Dodds expressed appreciations towards the Park and made a promise that they would enhance the cooperation between Britain Technology and Science Park and Tsinghua Science Park. Both sides exchanged some opinions on certain innovative fields.

John Dodds and his delegation also visited one company in the Park - Innofidei, Inc. and showed great interest in CMMB Electronic chip system. When hearing the constant breakthroughs in innovative services system as well as research and development, John Dodds expressed his appreciation especially knowing that Tsinghua Science Park has offered much technologic innovation resources to promote new development of science and technology.
