Celebration for the 4th anniversary of the establishment of Tsinghua Science Park, Kunshan Branch Park was held in the Science & Technology Plaza in Kunshan Branch Park on the evening of October 28. Gu Jianyu (the Standing Deputy Director of Kunshan Economic & Technological Development Zone), Huang Jian (Vice Mayor of Kunshan City), Zhao Songkun (Deputy Director of Standing Committee of People’s Congress of Kunshan), Mei Meng (Chairman of the Board of TusPark Co., Ltd.), Xu Jinghong (President of TusPark Co., Ltd. and Chairman of the Board of Kunshan Tsinghua Science Park Development Co., Ltd.), etc. attended the celebration. Staff from Kunshan Municipal Government, TusPark company headquarter, recruiting enterprises of Kunshan Branch Park and Kunshan Tsinghua Science Park Development Co., Ltd. as well as various social celebrities, totaling over 60 persons attended the celebration.

Mr. Mei fully affirmed the construction experience of Kunshan Branch Park and summarized it as “Kunshan Mode” in his speech. Mr. Huang, Vice Mayor, spoke highly of the contributions made by Kunshan Tsinghua Science Park to Kunshan’s development on behalf of Kunshan City and hoped that the Park would make a greater contribution to the scientific and technological innovation as well as industry upgrading of Kunshan. Liu Zhaogui, Enterprise Representative of the Park and Chairman of the Board of Skyray Instrument Inc. expressed his appreciation for the Park’s “motherly” solicitude for the enterprise and said that much more outstanding achievements would be made to repay the Park as well as Kunshan.

During the celebrations, Liu Wanfeng, General Manager of Kunshan Tsinghua Science Park Co., Ltd. looked back on the entrepreneurial course of Kunshan. He showed his appreciation for the concerns from leaders of Kunshan City, headquarters of Tsinghua Science Park and various social circles about the Park’s development on behalf of Kunshan Branch Park, and extended his respects for consistent supports from recruiting enterprises and industrious work of the staff.

After four years’ construction, Tsinghua Science Park (Kunshan) has achieved long-term development. The Science & Technology Plaza and Skyray Plaza have been successively put into use. Chuangxin Plaza will have been completed and put into use by this November. At present, the Park has attracted nearly 40 high-tech enterprises for recruitment and established a batch of public labs and public platforms led by Kunshan advance manufacture innovation center of Tsinghua Science Park. Three functions, concentrating on technology research and development, enterprise incubation and personnel training of the Park, are forming gradually.
