2007 Commendation Conference for Outstanding Entrepreneur of Overseas Chinese Students Is Held in TusParkPrint

On September 27, “2007 Commendation Conference for Outstanding Entrepreneur Overseas- Chinese-Student in Zhongguancun” sponsored by the Administration Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park, undertaken by Tsinghua Science Park was held in the multi-purpose hall, 2/F, Innovation Mashion, Tsinghua Science Park, and attended by a total of 350-plus people including Zhu Shanlu, the member of the Standing Committee of Beijing Municipal Committee and director of Municipal Education Working Committee, leaders of municipal commissions, offices, bureaus concerned, commended outstanding entrepreneur and the delegates of overseas- Chinese-student in the Park. At the meeting, Mei Meng, director of Tsinghua Science Park Development Center presented the theme report. 

A total of 50 outstanding entrepreneur overseas-Chinese-student were commended in the Conference from the information technology, life science, new medicine, new material, new energy, agriculture & forestry, environment protection and other fields, of which, multiple science research achievements with independent intellectual property filled the domestic gaps. The principals from 6 enterprises in Tsinghua Science Park were commended, including Zhang Hui from Beijing Innofidei Technology Co., Ltd., Zhou Tao from Beijing CeresData Inc., Xu Junpu from Beijing ACCB Biotech Ltd., Hu Chengmin from Beijing HTZH Technology Co., Ltd, Gao Yan from Beijing Jiuhua Inter-connection Technology Co., Ltd, and Yang Lin from Beijing LXHY Technology Co., Ltd. 

Zhu Shanlu, during his speech, encouraged commended outstanding entrepreneur overseas-Chinese-student to make more contributions to the construction of innovative capital, and build Zhongguancun Science Park into a world first class, international and high grade hi-tech park with the characteristics of the capital. 

Mei Meng, director of Tsinghua Science Park Development Center presented the theme report titled “Building the Entrepreneur Platform for Overseas-Chinese-Students Fostering Global Growing Companies”, describing the development mode of Tsinghua Science Park, especially the cooperation mode of the combination of production & learning, and production & production; Xia Yingqi, deputy director of the Administration Committee of Zhongguancun also made suggestions on the entrepreneur of the overseas-Chinese-student.
