The Midwestern United States Delegation Visits TusParkPrint

On the morning of March 18, 2013, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources in America, Ms. Cathy Stepp and her delegation visited Tsinghua University Science Park(TusPark). Administrative Committee of Tsinghua University Science Park Director, TusPark Co.,Ltd Vice President Li Zhiqiang received the delegation.
The members of the delegation came from the Sino-US exchange program of “Mississippi River Research" participating units. The project was set up jointly by more than 50 governments, academic institutes, enterprises and communities in the Midwestern United States, its aim to promote the two parties long-term friendly and cooperative relations in environment, resources and cultural exchanges. Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is responsible for this project’s management and also is one of the institutes to implement the project. This time they are seeking opportunities for exchanges and cooperation with the relevant departments in China in the field of environment, resources, energy, education, and technology development.
To consider about the visiting purpose of the delegation, VP Li made a comprehensive and in-depth introduction to the achievements made in the field of technology services, technological talent and technological incubated companies of TusPark. The vivid cases of technological achievements industrialization gave deep impression to the delegation, they said that China's scientific and technological development at an alarming rate, industrialization of achievements have great potential market, the two countries have a very large scale for cooperations among production, university and research.
Ms. Cathy Stepp made a brief introduction to the Science Park of the University of Wisconsin, and expressed willingness to further discussion on the cooperation between the two sides.
Dr. Lu Xiaojun, deputy director of Tsinghua University Overseas Project Department and Miao Chun, deputy director of TusPark Technology Assessment Operations Center and she is also the principal of Application Dept. of TusPark Research Institute for Innovation attended the reception.
