The book Transformation—Case Study on International Innovative Cities, published by Tsinghua University Press, with Mr. Xu Jinghong as its editor-in-chief has been well received since day one. In August, 2011, Mr. Yang Weize, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Jiangsu, and Secretary of Municipal Party Committee of Nanjing, recommended the book to the attendants on the further study workshop organized by the Municipal Party Committee and Government of Nanjing for government officials.

As a key fruit of TusPark, Transformation—Case Study on International Innovative Cities was published officially on Tsinghua Innovation BBS. With the transformation on national economic development as its theme, innovative cities as its object for case study, and upgrading of the restructuring of industries as its focus, the book has summarized the experience on innovative development of various innovative cities (regions) worldwide including Los Angeles, Huston, Boston, Silicon Valley, Pittsburgh, Copenhagen, London, Birmingham, Huddersfield Town, Helsinki, Berlin, Singapore, Tsukuba and Seoul. Each case study focuses on the history and status of regional innovative development and emphasizes the policies and measures taken by the cities (regions) on the industrial upgrading and transformation. Transformation—Case Study on International Innovative Cities can be the reference for relevant government units on decision-making, and also the reference book for universities and research institutes as a theoretical support.
